I grew up in Central Pennsylvania, fairly close to Dutch Country (Amish). I've been told that I have a tendency to "talk up" at the end of sentences, so it sounds a lot like I'm asking a question even when I'm making a statement. LOL

I've been told I have a Wisconsin accent. NO CLUE what that means.

I am from Northern Iowa, and yes we do have accents :) It's a cross between Canadian and Chicago.

    :)

I have a New Orleans accent, which doesn't sound like any other accent in the South. It's closer to a New York accent.

When I first came to NYC in 1984 I worked at an ad agency was told I had a "non-regional tone" and that I should do commercial voice-overs. Close to 30 years in the city I'm sounding distinctly like a New Yawka

I grew up inj Southern Cali so I am told I have a slight valley girl accent. However I now have lived in the midwest for 12 years so family back home says I have a midwestern accent whatever that means. I don't hear either one.

Dallas. Which means - ZERO "Southern" accent, but every now and then it takes on a lilt or a spanglish inflection when things get heated...

That's because you are not from MI listening to yourself

My Psych and Soc instructor was from Dallas-TRUST me she still has an accent

I have a VERY strong cajun accent. VERY FLAT AND VERY DRAWN OUT. I am from way south Louisiana. I was actually in Washington DC a few weeks ago and was stopped on a tour because the lady wanted to tell me how cool/cute my accent was. I never realize I have an accent until I go out of town.

I'm from southern Ohio, most of my family is from Kentucky, so I'm a weird mix. I'm living in Alaska now, so people always say I have a southern accent.

My favorite....Australian...seriously makes me melt like butter.
