What is you accent?
I am from Alabama, and I KNOW I have a southern twang to my voice. When I recently went to Washington State to visit family, all of their friends kept asking me to "Say Something" lol. I thought they were crazy becuase I didn't realize how southern my accent really is. So where are you from? Or what is your accent? And which one's do you think are sexy??
I love and European accent!!!

An American non-accent... No one can really place me unless I am really excited.0

I'm from Alabama too. I grew up in a very rural area of Alabama, and obviously I sound very "Southern".
I was visiting family in Northern California last summer and everywhere I went people would smile and ask "So, where are you from, because you are not from around here!"
Most people said they thought it was "cute" or "charming" , however, my husband and SIL didn't get asked this. And they grew up in Alabama too!0 -
Mais, it's cajun sha0

I have a British accent. More specifically, southern. A little west country, a little cockney and because I've been living in the north a few years now, a hint of Yorkshire.
I love all accents, but I have a thing for Americans. I don't even know why. My first boyfriend was American, so I guess it links back to that.0 -

I am from KY and have a southern/country accent. Even people from KY sometimes ask where I am from. I don't like it so I try to cover it up, but it comes out when I am drunk or extremely tired. Most people think it's cute, but I think it's annoying.0

Toronto-Canadian, eh!0

I'm from Mn, but I don't think I have the stereotypical Minnesota accent "Dont'ch know"0

I from Alabama too! When I leave the state I can definitely tell that I have one, but sometimes people that live in AL don't think that I am from here. :huh:0

Californian, so none. I can't even pretend to have an accent.0

Mostly southern USA, unfortunately. But put me in a room for five minutes with anyone with a different accent (or speech impediment) and I will automatically start picking up bits and pieces of it. A very embarrassing trait!0

West Coast Canadian. Probably very similar to people from Washington State, in the USA.0

I'm a Canadian. But some people have said I have an accent but they've yet to identify which one. But I have a few American friends who used to ask me to speak French which was always funny.0

I have a bit of a southern accent. Oddly, my nine year old has taken to speaking in a British accent in the past couple of weeks on and off. Hoping that is a phase, we live in Texas.....0

I am from KS, living in New York. I am British/American, my mom's mom is from England, my mom was also born in Kansas. So we carried the accent down the line. And in school, my English teacher never liked how I said words.0

I'm English and my accent really depends on who I'm with =/ If I am hanging out with my friends it's very much a northern accent if it's with strangers I get this standard English accent and no idea where it comes from.0

It's a mix of Ramsgate (south east Kent), Norfolk (UK) and Leeds - so I'm a mix of southerner, midlander and northerner.0

I grew up in Chemung County, NY. So whatever that accent is. :-)
I think it's mostly that generic Midwestern US accent, but there are certain words that I say "wrong" and have it in common with others from there. For example, I say bay-gel instead of bah-gel for bagel. Drove my Jewish grandmother from Buffalo up a wall!0 -

Ditto! I studied in Korea for a while and when I came back I had a Korean twang from being around it so much XD took a while to break.0 -
