Accidental text

A coworker was avoiding a committee meeting where the committee was confronting out boss about some issues, so she lied about car trouble. When she texted her hubby to tell him she has just lied to the boss' face, she accidentally had sent it to the boss. She was mortified, but talked the boss about it before she found the text on her own. That took guts.0

Too funny... This has fortunately not happened to me, YET!0

My fiance sent me a link to porn via text a few days ago.
"oops don't click that"0 -
Oh I do it all the time, but the worst was about two years ago and hubs was out of town and making a purchase I didn't feel was necessary but I let it go and decided to make a purchase of my own. I mean, that's only fair, right? Well he didn't like MY purchase and was giving me hell about it so I started texting my friend regarding the fact that I didn't ride him about his purchase and certainly didn't appreciate his issues with my purchase...of course I used more colorful language... Then I received an angry text from hubs wanting to know who I was supposed to send these texts to...it took me a minute, but I realized in my haste and anger I had been so focused on hubs that I was texting him.... THAT was a long day LOL
I always do it that way though, if I'm talking about a person I end up texting them...guess I need to quit running my mouth LOL
That's what I do!! I was *****ing about my boss to a coworker but sent it TO my boss! Crapsticks! I realised before I sent the massively long and colourful part thankfully.
Now... I want to know if she's really going to tell him that later! Lol0 -
That's freakin' hilarious!! Great way to start my day! :laugh:0

thats a great one OP!
I almost screwed up. Thank the flying spaghetti monster that twitter doesn't let you text pics to it. All my friends and I used to use twitter as a social chat room. (Everyone links up their twitters to txt and we just chatted.).. I was sending a c pic to my wife.. but realized I sent it to twitter's txting number.. Freaked out for 15 minutes, then realized that twitter doesn't work that way. This was back in 2008. If twitter did... my sister in law, brother in law, mother, brother, my vocalist, my wife's best friend, and my wife's best friend's bf would have ALL seen it... and it wasn't even that great of a shot..so that'd made it even more humiliating.
Ever since then.. SUPER careful. super.0 -
Yes....
And once you do it, youre terrified for the rest of forever that it will happen again. This past April I tried to send my guy a naughty pic and accidentally sent it to my best friend's drummer. Who's an *kitten* and a *kitten* with a BIG MOUTH.
That is one of my WORST fears! I don't send them often and when I do. I delete all conversations out of my inbox except my boyfriends HA! You should have followed it with a text that said " Just a reminder of something you will never have" lol.
UGH hindsight is 20/20 facepalm0 -
I did once send a text slagging off my boyfriend at the time to my mate..... alas I sent it to him instead.... least he knew he'd peed me off!0

These are hilarious! When I get those accidental ones I like to play along until they figure it out lol:)0

That. Is. Awesome.
Ugh, I do this sometimes because my phone has texts scroll acrossed the top, even if I'm looking at another text. I've only gotten in trouble once with it though... My brother was texting me about something I did the night before at a bar and he heard about it. I text back to him that a guy (a regular at this bar) just randomly started kissing me and everybody saw it. That text accidentally went to my boyfriend. Oops.0 -
Not really for texts to the wrong person, but.....

No wrong-person texts, but I tend to text my mind and then go back and edit....sometimes I hit send instead of delete....at least they know how I really feel, right? :smokin:0

I'm guilty! I sent a dirty text to one of my girl friends instead of who it was suppose to go to and somehow her bf's dad found out what it said. He told me that he only wishes girls would text like that all the time. I have no idea what I said but it must have been good! From now on I try to pay attention to what I send.0

You should try to be more creative.
You always know how to take the 'fun" out of "Chit-chat, fun and games."0 -
after nearly a week at scout camp recently, I sent a text to a friend letting them know I was really looking forward to seeing them on the weekend and was somewhat explicit in my intentions.
less then a minute later I receive a text back from on of my scout's mom which said "wow, that sounds interesting" then followed up with "will our motel room be away from everyone else?"
Sheer panic set in. I had no Idea how I had mis-texted.
turned out I hadn't. She was texting to someone else and accidentally sent them to me. so instead of being me red-faced when I dropped her son off, she kept apologizing and was having trouble making eye contact. :laugh:0 -

I have done this so many times!0 -

Am I the only one who then screams at the phone "No, STOP! UN-Send! UN-Send!!!"0 -
Did you actually say P and V?
Yes, we joke and say that to each other all the time.
That's funny, that's what my boyfriend and I use as "code" when our daughter is around.
Code for us is "Teddybear, I am baking a cookie for you"0 -
omg! that is awful!
I've been the recipient of those kind of accidental texts though, sure put a huge knot in my stomach at first until I realized it was a mistake! lol0 -
