    Finally getting around to getting my goal entered. Been a hectic month and I've been so behind on getting to the gym, although I have been making sure to watch my calories and track them.

    Going to shoot for 75 miles in August.

    While it's less than my July goal, I'll be substituting the gym for football practices this month, so tracking miles is going to be tougher on the field than in the gym ... I've only gotten to the gym twice in the past 10 days ... good news is that I'm still losing a little weight by watching the calories ... we'll see what impact football practices have,.

    Busy month and have only gotten to the gym twice, but here are the numbers so far.

    August 1 - 11.9 miles on treadmill, elliptical, and cycle
    August 10 - 10.23 miles on cycle

    22.13 miles down and 52.87 miles needed to make my goal.

    did some running yesteraday, it was humid and hot, but I did do some.
    It's nice and rainy and cool today so I plan to get a good run in. Here is my update for yesterday.

    Got in 6 miles this morning (ran 4 1/2 keeping a 8:30 min/mile pace, then had to walk/run the rest), but was unable to run them all...but I did good considering I didn't want to run at ALL. Worked too later, got no sleep and was up TOO early. I believe I will take a nap now.
