I'm IN!! I have the biggest sweet tooth and find myself needing chocolate at least once a day. This will hopefully help me stay sweet-free til Thanksgiving.
:drinker:0 -
I'm in. I've been on a flippin' sweets rampage. I need shut down. I got a Blizzard from DQ this weekend, it wasn't even that good, but I ate it anyway!
Thanks Marla. It's like you know......0 -

I DO know, Lori.... livin' it, my dear.
Hey....thanks for joining amk.... we help each other. This works!0 -
This really came at a good time. I made apple crisp and banana bread yesterday. Indulged- over indulged- after the gym. I feel gross, over food. Silly, silly me. I know better. I am better. I will do better.
Personally I notice a huge difference in my belly fat when I eat clean and cut out sugar. I'm the Pillsbury dough boy today and it's not making me feel good.0 -
I rewarded myself with a King Size Snickers yesterday. I convinced myself I deserved it because I worked out Fri, Sat, Sun in a row and had done a lot of cleaning around the house. I shoved it, enjoyed it and 10 minutes later felt guilty and pudgy. It sucked.
Now only if I can remember how it made me feel the next time I'm craving chocolate.0 -
OK!!! Me too! :drinker:
I've been stress eating Costco chocolate raisins & biscotti!!!!!!!! :noway:
Blaaaaaaah............ I "hid" the bins in the garage! :explode: :laugh:0 -
Ive been gone a while but I think im in........IM IN!!! I CAN DO THIS AND SO CAN YOU!:drinker:0

Next time you're craving chocolate you log on here, quick as you can-- find our thread, and we'll give you a great, big, giant, loving .
That's what the accountability is all about--
Barbarella, Jennifer-- way to go-- it's only, what, six weeks? We can do this--0 -
OK COOL!!!! 2 weeks to Halloween too.............. :drinker:
Only 6 weeks to pumpkin pie! By then, we may not even care!  :laugh:0 -
I'm gonna have to have hubby taste the fondant and the buttercream I have to make for my cakes cause I want to get this sugar out of me. My fondant is all sugar. powdered and marshmallows. I will have to remember that sugar is the devil while making it!0

sam thats great, seems like we have half of the black team here, maybe we need to start this on our team also and make everyone accountable, I promise no sugar so far today, I even bought the kids and hubby a little snack and I pasted, where usually I at least eat one little piece. Thanks everyone and welcome aboard everyone, we can do this..0

My daughter makes the world's best cookies-- oh em gee!!!!0 -

Marla I have a 7 pound bag of chocolate chips in the freezer. :noway: it should all be gone by the middle of next month. I promise not to taste the cake in the making but I MUST have a piece (small one) for the birthdays. (sorry but I MUST)
I haven't had any sugar since starting this today! lets see how tomorrow goes. maybe eggs for breakfast instead of pancakes with the fam.0 -
So instead of eating fattening chocolate chip cookies like I would normall do, I'm going to try some jdark chocolate jello pudding instead. Wish me luck!! :happy:0
-
So far so good on the sweets! it is only 10 am though!!
Good Luck everyone!!!!0 -
Okie Dokie Marla
Iam in. It's going to be a little tough since I have been gone for a while. Gained back 5 lbs. Now it's time to get serious beforoe the holidays.:noway:0 -
good morning, my dessert free friends--
Redneckwoman-- glad you joined us.
Just a touch of accountability along our merry way. I have no opinions on the sugar-free crud out there-- Jello sugar free this, that and the other-- or Splenda and the like.
Personally, I'm just vowing to abstain from candies, chocolates-- you know, THE GOOD STUFF-- desserts, et cetera to get it back outta my system.
So far, so good--
We're stronger than we think, people-- these foods don't have to control us.
Be strong this day, my friends--0 -
Yesterday was brutal with sugar. Today I am swearing it off. I might have the shakes later, but I don't care! I need this challenge and I WILL do it.
Honestly, my fat free vanilla yogurt, blueberries and granola I had a while ago was totally better than any sugar filled crap I have eaten over the past few dreadful days of binging!0 -
doing great today, no sugar anything proud of myself, I went to the store and was like oohh that looks good and then I heard Marla in my head...get out marla....no sugar til thanksgiving..... Not that I have a whole lot on a daily basis unless I decide to just throw the towel in and splurge but a bite of chocolate chip, or maybe one hersey kiss, but nope nothing today. So proud.
Great job everyone on the team..What a great way to detox out body just before the holidays!!!0 -
So far so good...This morning I had my friend take the Ikes and Mikes with her when she left. So that pretty much took care of the real crap. How ever I still have some zuccini bread left in the frig. My neighbor made it last week. I think I am going to freeze the rest. But I have to check with my other half before I do. I think I can talk him into popcorn at night for a while.0

so far so good for me too! every time I go into the pantry to get something I'm like "oh I want some of those! or these look really good!!" "I better not!"   :laugh:0
-
No sugar all day. I did it. Day one anyway.0
