I change my profile picture all the time. Sometime faltering, sometimes funny. I try and portray my personality.

Why do you pick the picture you use?

Lets play nice and no nasty comments for a change.

The funny thing with my profile pic is that I just found it on my cell phone that I saved a long long time ago. And, I just laugh everytime that I see it. My Pic has been blank for quite some time though

Hopefully it makes other's laugh as well. No rotations yet

Well I hope nobody really thinks I'm a panda, lol. Seriously, I usually post from work and I don't have pics on that computer to use. The panda was something someone sent me in an email.

    Yep.

Not long ago someone on here thought I was an actual cat and therefore walked with my nose to the ground... *shrugs*

My profile pic depends on my mood. Not sure if it affects how I am percieved.
I know that I get less random creepy FR's with my face.

Of course it does. There's always a reason.
  • I put this one up last night due to needing inspiration and these 3 kiddos ARE my inspiration. I put in the pic of where I am now as the normal... or when I need a certain kick in the pants. It varies depending on what is going on I suppose

I can relate to my avatar. I have always had a big (but shapely) backside and have always been proud of it, despite the crtiical comments of others - and I thought this picture reflected that pride

I have no idea whether it affects the way folks perceive me - and TBH I don't really care!

It's a picture of myself that I like. Wasn't really going for making some kind of impression with it.

Yeah, I get different kinds of friend requests with different pictures.
The bigger I look in the picture (my current one) I get less requests (none) ahah
But I don't care, I pick whichever motivates me most at the time.

    Hi
My picture shows me doing something I love. Maybe there are others on MFP with the same interest.

Of course it does. I picked mine purely because I'm vain and I think I look pretty in it. :-P

Also, congratulations on the correct use of affect rather than effect.

Some people were getting on me about not finding the flat stomach/4-6-8 pack ab avatars motivating, so I had my husband take a picture of my fat gut. I don't find my gut inspiring, either; it's more of a "suck it" protest.
