1/4 cup oats (dry), mixed with 1/4 cup water, microwave 45 sec.
add 1/4 cup no sugar added applesauce and cinnamon

sometimes I slice up a banana in it

I never thought of canned pumpkin added to oatmeal, I think tomorrow will be a good day to try it!

i don't eat "breakfast" in the normal sense, as i only eat between noon and 8 pm. technically my breakfast is my lunch, which could be anything from some whey and full-fat greek yogurt to a sandwich to leftovers from last night's dinner.

Kashi 7 Grain waffles topped with one ounce of plain greek yogurt, with either strawberries or blueberries.
I'll have to try this. It sounds delicious.

I usually work out as soon as I get up and then have a protein shake for breakfast. I make green tea as soon as I get to work, and then eat some almonds or an apple and yogurt an hour or two later.

Tomorrow I'm trying oatmeal and half a grapefruit to change it up. Check out the recipe forum for overnight oatmeal. Honestly though, I fricking love smoothies so I'm super content to just throw some soy milk, whey, berries and ice in a blender and call it breakfast.

I really need some good recipes for smoothies. I love them too. :D

Most days, nothing. Doesn't get any lower calorie than that.

yeah, i know this isn't recommended, but i feel the same way. it seems entirely counterproductive to me to eat if i'm not hungry! coffee is the breakfast of champions =]

  • nothing, no breakfast for me!

Breakfast is the best meal of the day. It can be both savory and sweet. Why would you miss out on such a meal?

Whatever. You just can't handle the awesomeness of breakfast.

(Probably not what you're looking for as it isn't exactly low-calorie, but for me, it's 6-8 farm fresh large eggs cooked in bacon grease/coconut oil. To drink, it's 2 cups of coffee blended with 3T of kerrygold butter and 15-30g of MCT oil. ~1k calories to start the day off right. (And occasionally, I'll add some fruit too.))
  • Fat free yogurt and fruit.

6 oz Greek yogurt with fruit and flax seed stirred in - low calorie and very filling!

    Hard boiled eggs.

"Green" smoothie - two big handfuls of spinach, fruit, yogurt, and seeds of your choice, all blended together. I usually make a bunch, then freeze it in individual cups. Take one out the night before, stick it in the fridge, and it'll be perfect in the morning!
