wow...thanks so much for sharing. that's about my starting weight and sometimes i feel like it's not going anywhere...but i've committed to a healthier lifestyle for the last 4 weeks and i just know eventuallyit will pay off. thanks for the motivation!

Good for you! I am so glad you "by passed" the surgery." There are life long ramifications for taking such drastic measures, but I know it is also life saving for some. A friend of mine had the surgery and it did not take away her desire to over eat. She lost some weight but still had to make life style changes. She remains over weight 3 years later. Not as much as she was but overweight nonetheless. Keep going. Don't give up! My sister has been in your range and she has steadily lost with the same resolve you have.
Keep it up. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall and see your docs face when she saw what you accomplished. Just plain fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful results. Just so you know, when you left, she/he probably talked you up to the rest of her patients for the day, maybe even the week. I know I love to talk up the improvements to my patients and hear some of the other providers doing the same.
