    @trish-- I'm so sorry about your dog! Sending all the good vibes that he recovers.

    @jennie-- if you are just looking to track steps, could you use a phone app like map my walk and track mileage instead? That would be free.

    AFM--Not a great week for me. I was very active-helping my friend with estate sale, doing yard work, etc., but I had very little dedicated exercise time and didn't go running at all. This week has started off on a bad note in terms of food and exercise, but I still have time to turn it around.

    @happygirlxxx, Ana, I am so sorry to hear about your little dog. Having just recently lost my Yorkie/ShihTzu after 16 years I know how heartbreaking watching one get sick can be. I am hoping for a great recovery for him. <3

    SUMMER HEAT

    I had a good week! Down 2.8lb! We actually had two nights of going out....the first night was last Friday to one of they nicest places in town...so indulgent! Rich food, amazing wine...and cocktails after dinner...and my once a year cigarette. (Yes...once a year...every summer when I have had a little too much I get to have a cigarette. It takes me back to my youth :) ) The next night was a BBQ at the lake ....sigh.....
    But I didn't quit! I am really focusing on losing 1 lb at a time. I have even gone so far as to change my goal in MFP to the next pound down. I just need to lose 1 lb. That's it. Here's to another week!
