Welcome everyone to the 3,500+ calories burned challenge. This weekly challenge has been going on for over a year now and it's open to everyone! So nice to see so many new faces these last few weeks - hope it continues; people are setting higher goals and getting more calories burned!
This is a weekly challenge to meet 3,500+ calories burned. You set your own calorie goal for the week (even if it's below 3,500 - you can work your way to that goal!). Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard, other than push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such an inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.

I'm in! I'm shooting for 3000. My first challenge, can't wait!0

I'm ascared!! But ok, I will try. I average a few hundred a day now...that's about 2100 each week IF I am a good girl...so to challenge myself....(GULP) I will say that I am shooting for 2,500 for the week.
This is great because I am incorporating a lot more weights and at-home routines this week and this will force me to stick with the goals I have determined to set. I do not have an HRM so my totals are estimated by myself, my research, and MFP estimates.

I've never done one of these challenges, but after completing my first week on MFP and weighed in this morning to see a 6 pound loss... WOW I am motivated as it gets! I want to see more meltage...
I am going to set my calorie burn for the week at: 3500... that's 500 cals/day and I KNOW I can do it!

I'm in...I have never done this before so I think I will set my goal slightly lower (I don't want to get discouraged)...I will set my goal for 2000 calories burned for this week. Good luck everyone!!!!0

I'm in. I have a heart rate monitor that monitors calories burned when I run, but it's usually different than what I put in here. Lets see how this goes!0
