I found one called Ethiopian Spiced Cottage Cheese, while looking for Ethiopian dishes.

I will mix in some chia seeds since the texture is already thick. Also mix with pureed pumpkin and some pumpkin pie spice. Throw in some nuts if I need more calories.
I also like to mix in 2 TB of fat-free dressing (italian or ranch) and use it as a veggie dip.
Also, 1/4 cup fat free shredded cheddar, 2 TB of bacon bits, and maybe a dash of salsa - it tastes like a loaded baked potato, without the potato.
(I'm a savory gal - I actually cannot eat cottage cheese with fruit!)0 -
i have always hated cottage cheese, but my mini goal for this week is to attempt to like it. i will be trying a few of these! thanks!0

There are a number of noodle recipes online that include cottage cheese either with onions, cabbage, or bacon. I made pasta with cottage cheese and sauteed onions as the sauce the other day and it was quite good.0

Chop up some fresh tomatoes and put in there. So good!
I've got a recipe for cottage cheese cake somewhere; will have to look for it. That was good, not too high in fat or sugar.0 -
Bump, all these sound so good!0

I mix in sunflower seeds, or I eat it on ezekial toast with a layer of avocado and tomato slices. I don't like it mixed with sweet stuff, I like it more savory.
I also use it as a topping on zucchini or cauliflower pancakes.0 -
Bookmarking. I don't usually like it, but some of these ideas are great!0

Mix it into ground beef/turkey meatloaf, or use mixture to stuff peppers or zucchini - really yummy and adds some nice moistness to the meat.
Also, this sounded great although I haven't tried it yet. From the World According to Eggface blogsite - she has some great high protein recipes.
White Chocolate Raspberry Cottage Cheese Pancakes
1/2 cup Cottage Cheese (I use pre-mixed cottage cheese with pineapple)
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons Whole Wheat Flour (I use Arrowhead Mills Multigrain Pancake Mix)
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free White Chocolate Pudding Mix, dry
12-15 Fresh Raspberries
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Raspberry Jam (I use Smucker's Simply Fruit), nuked
Whiz in mini food processor. Spray pan with non-stick spray. Cook on low till bubbles appear, press 2 halved raspberries into each pancake, flip. Cook till done. Nuke SF Raspberry Jam for 25 seconds so it drizzles well. Serve each pancake with a drizzle of warmed jam and more fresh raspberries. Makes 4 small pancakes (pictured) or 8 silver dollar size.0 -
I haven't really eaten much cottage cheese but I think I will try a few of the ideas posted here.
My husband likes it with salt, pepper and a little garlic powder.0 -
For the cottage cheese haters..I put mine in a food processor, to get rid of the lumps (can't stand them)..Then do 1/2 c.c and 1/2 "diet" flavored yogurt. I like it becuase it cuts down on the sugary taste, but you don't taste/feel the cottage cheese0

OH also, cut a grapefruit in half. Top with a bit of cottage cheese mixed w/your sweetener of choice. I use brown sugar. broil until melty!0

Yeah - me also, try mixing in some Skhug hot sauce if you can find it - don't fully mix it in, leave it in bits and pieces

I put cottage cheese in my salads all the time instead of dressing.
Yes I do this also...works great!0 -
I toast an english muffin, put Breakstone cottage cheese on the muffins, and top it off with a thick slice of tomato. Mmmmm!
I also use cottage cheese in place of ricotta in lasagna.0 -
I have 2 great ideas as I love cottage cheese but needed something else besides fruit. The first is a dessert/salad recipe. Take a 16 oz. cottage cheese fat free, add a 3 oz. box of sugar free jello powder and a small can of pineapple packed in it's own juice and mix well until it is all colored from the jello. I like lime flavor the best but have made it with strawberry and grape jello. Then fold in a small Cool Whip and refrigerate a few hours. The next way is how I like it. Take your cottage cheese and add 1/2 of a minced small onion, and add salt and pepper to taste. This is what I use instead of potatoes. also, if you eat noodles you can cook your noodles, drain them and add the cottage cheese with the onions and s&p and slightly heat them until hot. this can be a meal. If you like cottage cheese you will like these recipes. I also eat plain cottage cheese on toast with some sugar free jam.0

I'm going to try this w/out the brown sugar and raisins. I miss my ice cream for a bedtime snack and this might help.
I have been eating it with cherry tomatoes and basil fresh from the garden and kind of a lot of pepper.
Oops idk how to copy a post. I'm talking about the "apple cheese danish" one
If you miss ice cream try this. put 2 or 3 peeled bananas in the freezer until frozen solid. I cut them in chunks before freezing. Then put the frozen bananas in a food processor and process until they form ice cream. Scrape it into a freezer container and keep frozen if you don't eat it all before storing. All banana and nothing else. I didn't believe it would be like it is, it is almost a miracle. Try it you'll like it.0
