Would you pay for MFP?

Nope. Can't afford it. I'd have to find another site and it would really, really suck. =(0

I stopped using WW online b/c I thought it was silly to pay for just the online tool...spend that money on a gym membership! Then I starting tracking on my own then found this site. If I had to pay I would likely find someplace else to track.0

A great big resounding NO. There would not be a chance that at this moment my budget could be stretched for even a couple of dollars more. Like so many others have said, "I would find a new free site".0
-
It's why I quit Weight Watchers online & now doing this instead. WW is not expensive, but I like more control over my food plan.0
-
one of the helpful perks about this sit is that it's FREE! that's why i'm able to do it!!0

Nope. I don't use the mobile app. The regular Web site would need some major enhancements before I'd even consider paying for a subscription--it just isn't that good.
In the 8 or 9 months I've been on MFP, I've seen numerous requests for better reporting features, or at least the ability to export data for use with a spreadsheet. Recipe sharing, either between MFP friends or with the community in general, is another big one. Being able to track more than six columns of nutrients in the food diary, out of the 16 or 17 available. (I hear that can be done on the mobile apps, on a 4" screen; why not on my 20" or 22" PC monitor?) Flagging entries that have repeatedly been marked as inaccurate in the food database would be nice, too. But those requests all seem to fall on deaf ears.0 -
I love this site and it has really helped me. I am not working now so -No I wouldnt pay for it, However IF I were t get a job, and IF the cost was low enough I probably would join but only till i got to my goal weight.:indifferent:0
-
Nope, I'd just migrate to one of the other free calorie tracking sites.0
-
No...Not when WebMd offers an extremely similar tool.0
-
Don't be giving them any ideas... shhh...
yeah-- seriously! The ads/free model works for me!0 -
No I would just switch over to myfitbit.com and log everything there.0
-
Probably not. As for the Ads, I have done something on this site that I have done nowhere else, I have actualy clicked on ads and bought stuff.0
-
Nah. mate. I mean, I love mfp but I could easily just move to another free site like this one0
-
No no no.
I won't pay for ****.0 -
Not a chance in hell.0
-
nope.
why do you think I quit the Ws0 -
I wouldn't pay....
hahaha i'd go buy a journal and write **** down in that.0 -
Nope. While this is the best site I've found for tracking my food & exercise there are too many other free ones out there for me to worry about paying for this one.0
-
If it was a very low fee and I had the option of deleting my long long long list of stored food selections.0
-
Probably not, unless they took everyone's feedback on how to improve the site, and made it more awesome, and with no ads. And it would have to be no more than just a couple bucks a month, I don't *kitten* gold...0
-
Not a chance in the world. There are too many other apps out there & to be perfectly honest, the MFP app needs improvement.0
-
Only i they got rid of the message boards.0
-
Nope, way too many similar sites that are the same concept.0
-
Never!0
-
no, I'm here because it's free. I don't have a lot to lose and I'm here mostly for the community support and ideas.0
-
Not with these forums
I do pay for a membership at a fat loss site. But, the owner personally answers questions, has knowledge and medical studies to back up all her claims, offers workout plans and diet modifications, and there are NO trolls at all.0 -
I have found other programs on the net which are similar and at zero cost, so NO I would not pay anything.0
-
no0
-
NO0
-
I couldn't do it if it wasn't free. I need it to stay on track and the whole point of it I thought was it was similar to weight watchers so you can be successful but it is free!!0
