    BTW, in my avatar picture, I am going commando. You don't wear undies beneath cycling gear. Causes very unpleasent chaffing.

    Morning, Chris. Actually they do make lube specifically for that reason. The most common is called Chamois Butter (the pad in the crotch of bicycling shorts is challed a chamois). So far I haven't needed any. I don't like the idea of greasing up before a ride. Oooh, someone is going to roll with that last sentence.
