Condo in downtown Chicago. Then I realized how lonely and boring it is to live there. I still own it, but now I live in a foodie neighbordhood.
Aside from real estate, a Louis Vuitton purse. I'll just say I could've paid a YEAR of college.
OH man, didn't think about college. Most expensive thing I've ever bought myself was an education ($50k).0 -
Round the world plane ticket! I leave for New Zealand in November, then Australia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam

In 1984, fresh out of nursing school, I bought the car that I saw when I was in high school and said I'd buy myself when I got my nursing license......a brand new 5 speed 1985 Mazda RX7! Five yrs later when I had finally finished paying for it, someone stole it and totalled it. I cried for days!0

Yeah, I am very grateful that I am done paying that monstrosity off. Hmmm, I suppose my education was the 2nd most expensive thing I bought myself. :drinker: Cheers to being educated!0 -

My beautiful and much adored horse- a grey Swedish Warmblood mare. Also the saddle. And the bridle. Oh and her rugs. Also the vet bills. The boarding fees are up there too. Lol.... Worth every last penny :happy:0 -
Other than the typical house and car....Lasik Surgery, a Handgun and a Zing (computerized paper cutter) - spread out over the last few years.0

Aside from the normal "Adult Responsiblities" that we pay for the rest of our lives...UM, lately, I cant think of ANYTHING that I have splurged on for myself...BUT, when I hit my goal, I am spending the $$ on a Tatoo...FINALLY!!!!0

I treat myself most years to something special from Tiffany's and Coach, but the most expensive thing I bought for myself that weren't for my home or my sanity (aka vacations and the treats above) would have to be my treadmill.0
-
I guess the most expensive thing would be my motorcycle. Then my wedding rings for my 15 year anniversary. Then a Coach purse and matching wallet as a reward for quitting smoking. All well worth the expense.0

tummy tuck after the kids was probably the most expensive thing that was just for me. My pole was 800 that I got last year (was time to upgrade)....and clothes, I buy clothes a lot. And boots. hmmmmm I spend money on me all the time I guess! yay! I leave the cars and diamonds to the husband to buy.....he's spoiled too, so are the kids. we're equal opportunity spenders.0

After losing everything and being homeless for a while, when I had extra money I treated myself to a $150 jar of Lancome moisturizer. I also spent $175 last year on a Dinair airbrush kit for my birthday. Extremely rare for me!0
