i've never painted a room and mine is a pepto pink lookin color,it's just not doin it for me.lol So,im going grey and turquious.
Pink is definately not calming probably why you can't sleep
Turquious is so fun to play with
I'm in a rental so the color is the same throughout the house but I managed to work with it - focusing mostly on the light tan walls pinkish/earthy tiles and putting grey and orange into the mix. Don't ask me how but it worked lol.
Wear a hat (so the paint doesn't get in your hair)0 -

It's the therapy of a fresh start and decorating is fun plus just thinking of this has me excited about the prospect of even walking into IKEA

We went CL shopping for some furniture, and found a really nice living room set (couch, love seat, etc) for cheap.
Long story short, the man's wife who was selling it, got tired of it after a few years (dude paid like 3 or 4k or something we got it for 500 bucks) so she kept trying to get a new one. Finally she tricked him, finally!
She asked him to repaint the living room. After she repainted, she said the furniture didn't match. Checkmate.
Needless to say he was pissed about the entire situation.0 -

Damn it, I have a runny nose and sore throat as of the last 15 minutes and my long waited for vacation is this Thursday and I am supposed to do a road trip to Vegas. I'm so pissed at myself right now I want to kick my own *kitten* but I'm not that flexible.
@ cblevitron I do the bodyrock.tv work outs and this recipe was delicious. Don't use too much onions though.0 -

Paint colors sound nice. I really don't like white walls. The Avengers was better than I expected. I have to watch too many comic book/action movies based on 1980s toys/ stuff blowing up movies for my liking, but I have a family of all boys. We actually had to walk out of the movie Enchanted( not saying it was great) because the boys were trying to poke their eyes out. I haven't had to play their computer games though...thank goodness. I really don't like quest or mission games...those take forever.0 -

I'm glad others think FB is dead. I got off a little over a year ago. I'm on Google+ now...much better. I think the general IQ on Google is a lot higher than on FB. And I realized there was a reason I didn't keep in touch with all those people in the first place...because I didn't like them. I don't hate any of them, but I don't care what loser guy your dating now or how surprised you'll be when you realize he is a loser.0 -
Up for no reason. Getting up *officially* in an hour to go workout. Only one up and I think the dog is on my bed.
Hate waking up angry. Instead of having a nightmare, I dream of some person from my past and I'm having a fight with that person. Could be anyone. Usually someone I don't like who I haven't seen in years, so I'm all angry and confused about why my mind wanted to pull that person from the past out tonight. Nothing like being irritable for no good reason...my husband loves it ; )

I did have a super creepy dream once. When I was deployed I knew a buddy in high school, and I hadn't seen him since.
Well as I was sleeping in Iraq I had a dream where he came up to me and we started talking. We had a huge conversation, very long but i don't remember the content. I do remember at the end he was like "hey man don't worry it is going to be ok".
Later on a few weeks later I found out he was in the reserves and he had died recently being deployed.
To this day I have no justification on why or how i had that dream, but it is beyond creepy.

I used to live in Twentynine Palms in Cali for the past 5 years so it was about 2 and a half hours for me if I drove really fast in the back desert roads. I used to go almost every weekend till I decided I didn't want to drink anymore for a while. I just moved to Houston so it's going to be a long long drive.0 -
