    my dad emailed me something snippy and i replied with something that would sever our relationship for years.

    i can't remember exactly what i said, it has been so long now.

    but we have reconciled since then.

    I did the same. I told him I didn't want him in my life at all. At this time he'd had Parkinson's for a long time, but I was still so angry with him I told him he could die alone. This was 10 years ago, so I was 16 hehe.

    Alas, now we live together just fine. :)
