    I'm a total Tolkienian, and I think it's awesome you read your grandfather The Hobbit. I am so sorry for your loss, but you have the comfort that your time with him was time well spent. I know he appreciated it greatly.

    363.71 miles to go...Road now runs due west. Can see ruins on hilltop to the south. Will make camp in another four miles or so.

    I went back and recalcated my miles since the beginning of February and I have gone 43.5 miles so I am almost to Brandywine Bridge. Only 353.5 miles left. :wink:
