I'm in! My original mini goal was 185 by Christmas. I'm 205 today, 217 when I started this about 6 weeks ago. 20lbs by Christmas is perfect!
  • this plan sounds great. i want to lose 35-40 by April when my daughter is getting married. i just found out about myfitnesspal and needed the support and guide to help me get there.

    Hi there!

I'm totally with you. Christmas is going to be hard for me this year as home is Hawai'i where it's always bikini season! I would like to loose 10lbs by Christmas. 15lbs ideally, but I think 10 may be more in my capacity. I'm currently in school and binge eat when I'm stressed--it's really hard! I'm thinking of putting a cap on the amount I spend every time I go grocery shopping so I don't accumulate more food than I need. I just seem to eat it when it's around...it's awful and I can't control it!

    Current Weight: 115
    Goal Weight: 105
    Ideal Weight: 100

I'm trying to not set unattainable exercise goals such as working out 7x a week for 1hr. At least for the week of October 15 I would like to work out 3x this week for an hour.

I wil post each week w/ progress!

    Lets do it people!

    WOW! whats ur height??

I started a group if it is okay and I made the original poster admin? If you get mad I'm sorry and you can make a different one, but I didn't see one open yet. :]
I also thought it would be nice to start groups based on weight as separate discussions in that group because it may help motivate people so they won't feel out of place? I know people lose at different rates based on weight so I figured it is an idea, but what is everyone's input? Where is the OP (original poster)?
