It looks like you've lost 5 pounds in 5 weeks! So you're right on track! Slower weight loss is more sustainable! Hugs!

Today I weighed in at 187.4 another lb in the wrong direction hopefully next week will be more promising. Although I spoke to a group of ladies that have done the program I'm doing and all of them stated that they gained before losing weight

    here's this week's chart....
Clarita was our biggest loser this week with a 2.5% loss
Mary is our biggest loser to date with a 2.9% total loss
Denise, Sara and Crystal also posted losses.....Jill has not reported in for 2 weeks so i will continue to carry her forward from last week and then next week if she doesnt report into the thread i'll drop her from the sheet - dont want her "lack of progress" during the challenge to skew our numbers....to those that maintained or even posted a gain, hang in there....the fact that each of us is being diligent in our task to make our bodies better is an overall better reward than losses in my book...although losses rock too :)

Clarita I also saw you post that you and your dr have determined you are in your healthy range...that is awesome...an amazing accomplishment....so happy for you....can you give us a challenge this week???

Yay! Thank you guys! SOO happy! This week I just crossed over into the healthy weight category - YEESSS! Party time!

    THIS WEEK's CHALLENGE:
OK my first thought for a challenge is to give you the same one that I am doing. That is, exercise every single day this week. I know some people have good reasons for not doing this (you are lifting heavy and need a recovery day, you are sick, etc). But it doesn't have to be that hard - "exercise" one day could be as little as a light 15-minute walk, or 15 minutes of yoga/pilates or jumping jacks. I would like to say minimum 15 minutes though.

Is this OK? If it's not a feasible challenge, let me know and I'll think of something else.

I appreciate all of you so much!!

We can post our daily exercise here if you'd like. Today I walked to work and home (40 minutes total) and took a 60 minute zumba class.

Well done on your loss this week Clarita and special congratulations fro breaking into the "healthy weight" range.

    I also accept your challenge.

This morning i braved the cold and walked to work (12 mins) but other than walking home again later it's a rest day for me

I don't know what's going on. Except for Thanksgiving I had a really good week. That means I am up 10 pounds from my lowest weight in May. I really was back on the horse with everything this week. I should not be up.

Hi cmpettey, I'm sorry about your frustration :( How can I and we support you? hugs

Thank you! I think I found the probable cause of the gain. I started my period this morning. Hoping for a loss next week. As for the challenge, it's on! Great challenge!

Today I walked to work and home (in the rain! gasp!) and took a 60 minute cardio barre class (that burns!). I'm having big trouble with IBS right now so I pray that goes away.

  • Hey all - I am so sorry to be absent from this whole thread like this. I am going through a really really really rough time in my life. I am just beginning the processes of divorce, and so I am changing all my logins and passwords and all that great stuff you do to grieve a loss and protect yourself. It's hell, but it is helping me curb the weight.

Thank you for putting up with me and being patient. I am so sorry I am not a regular contributor to this group. My life and job are just so complicated right now.

Thanks for you continued support! But I DID WEIGH IN TODAY!!!!

Unfortunately it has been a bad exercise week for me but I have at least walked every day and I've been putting up my Christmas decorations so I'm definitely moving, lifting, climbing ladders, etc. more because of that.
