    MacIntosh and Granny Smith.

My idea of a great apple has to be firm and "bite back". Macs are also local for me - originally developed just up The Valley from here.

Has to be a Pink Lady!

It's the fruit equivalent of sweets!

I loooove mcintosh but I rarely see them. ): Guess it's just the area? I live in Texas.

Definately "imports" for you ... macs were originally developed in the Ottawa - Seaway Valley region of Ontario, Canada. (luckly me - that means"local"!)

Gala was my favorite....until I noticed MFP folks logging Honey Crisp.
So I bought a couple even though they were really expensive. OMGosh,
Wish I hadn't...they are now my favorite.

    Honey Crisp
    Pink Lady
    Macintosh

I tried the Jazz last week - nice crisp texture but something tasted off to me. Could just be that I expected it to be sweeter after eating Honey Crisps a lot the last couple of weeks. :)

I've had a grapple before. It was a Fuji apple with grape flavoring added to it. I enjoyed it.

Fuji, hands down. But I like Granny Smith and peanut butter as a snack. Yum! Oh, and I hate Red Delicious. They are far to often dry and mealy, not delicious.

Honeycrisp, it is the very best!

Will eat Granny Smith when the Honeycrisp are not in season
