    About to turn 29, no children yet. Let me tell you ladies, baby fever is for real! Hahaha!

    It just worse and worse every year! Anyone else around my age feeling this?

    I was never that bothered about having a baby, but then I got engaged on my 30th birthday, married 10 months later and couldn't wait to try for a baby! Luckily I got pregnant the first month trying....he's 3 now! Loved him so much I tried for our 2nd when he was 13 months, and she's 17 months now.

    I'm now 35 and would like another, possibly thinking of trying for one next March/April so I'd be 36 by the time s/he was born. Even with 2 kids I feel the baby fever!

    If it gives you any hope, I'm 20 and still have not had one. Don't plan to until mid-to-late 20's, either. And my mum was 30 when she had me.

    I was 23 when my first child was born, 29 when my second was born and 42 when my grand daughter was born.

    Married at 21 and our first baby is due to arrive 2 months after my 27th birthday :) I live in Montana, where the average age for kids is much lower!

    im 25 and have 0 kids :) wouldnt have it any other way. maybe when im 30 (i have been married for over 5 years now and we are both happy with no kids)

    Got married 3 days after I turned 18
    Got pregnant 4 months later (he was planned)
    Had my beautiful son about two weeks after I turned 19
    I am 21 now and currently trying for number two ;)

    However, I'm surprised by my classmates from HS...they're all grandparents more than once already and a lot of their grandbabies are a few years old.

    Second - my husband's sisters had their firsts in their 30s

    Then I have some friends and a classmate having their first now (at age 43)

    20 When I had him...My mom was 3 months pregnant with me and 18 years old on her wedding day.

    He's my reason for working so hard and having a house, nice car and money at 25 years old when many of my friends still live at home with mom and dad. :love:

    Denver, CO - Our daughter was born when I was 22, I was 21 when I got preggo. Seems the majority of the parents in our kids' classes are closer to my parents' ages, which is fine, but when my daughter was in kindergarten I felt like we were BABIES in comparison!! I definitely hope my kids wait longer to have kids, live a little, but everything worked out for me and hubby with our kids so I definitely won't complain!!!

    I was 19 and my husband was 18 when our first was born. She's now 22 and that's how we remember how long we've been married. :laugh:

    Age when I had my first (only) child: 16 (2001)

    For me i think it has a lot to do with here you grow up and what you are surrounded with. However i learned my lesson and didnt keep having them. I did get prego a second time in 2005 but miscarried. I did graduate from high school and i am totally independant. Some change and some stay the same. we all have a choice and what we do with that choice is what matters.

    Met my husband at age 16, got married at age 19
    Had my first at age 20 (total surprise)
    Second at age 22 (planned)
    Third at age 25 (complete surprise)

    I will celebrate 22 years of marriage to my best friend and soul mate on December 16th. My oldest will be 21 (OMG) on December 18th.

    Love my boys and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. My youngest just turned 16 and in a few more years they will all be out of the house and my hubbie and I can really start to travel and enjoy ourselves while still being so young!!!

    I'm twenty one right now and I plan on first getting most of the way through college before I have a kid. I wanted to wait until after med school, but my future hubby said eight years was pushing it....so I agreed to three or four ;)

    i had him Oct 3 via c-section. unfortunately, he was stillborn. i always invisioned myself having children before i got to this age. unfortunately, fate had different ideas. perhaps i'll actually get to experience parenthood one of these days

    I am what my OB labeled as a "mother of advanced age" (I almost threw his clipboard at him). From MA and 38 when I was pregnant, had him shortly after my 39th birthday. I was one of 5 pregnant at my class reunion that year, and 4 others had newborns. I just wasn't someone who always knew they wanted to be a mother. When the time was right, I knew it.

    When I worked in the Emergency Room, there were girls as young as 13 coming in to be seen because they were in labor.
