    Originally from central Iowa, now live in Newfoundland, 22. I was the oldest of my sisters to have a kid (both were 20). I felt like such a pro. :laugh:

    I was 25 with my first, BUT I lived in an area with a high teen pregnancy rate. I was the oldest person in my birthing class! By 6 years. I felt very out of place since most important factor them shared classes...

    I was 23 when I had my first. I was in a four bed ward with a 19 year old having her first, a 21 year old having her 2nd and a 25 year old having her fifth. Like you, I was a slow starter. ...(And yes they kept you in the hospital for 5-7 days back then.)
    Wow I would hate that, I had to stay in 4 nights with my first (one was before birth though), with my second I wanted to come straight home after birthing but had to stay in overnight to receive IV fluids, don't really like staying other places. Unless it was a fancy hotel of course, wouldn't say no to that!

    I'm from CA and currently 24 and not pregnant, don't plan to be until I'm 25 or so. Probably will have 1st at close to 26 if all goes well.

    BF (soon to be husband) is almost 30.

    Got pregnant at 19 had her when I was 20.

    fouth at 31 and thankfully no more.

    I was 27 when I had my first and 29 when I had my second. I was determined to be done having babies before I turned 30 and he was born a couple of months before my 30th birthday.

    I was 26 when my first were born. I got married at 22. I'm from the midwest. I met my husband in college and we get married a year after graduating.

    I'm 32, never married, and no kids...but maybe someday. I've got family members who got pregnant near/after 40, with healthy kids, so I like to think I have more time.

    i became a mommy for the first time this past march at 29...i wanted to have my first by the time i was 30 :) i made it with time to spare...i think to a certain degree being a super young mom is sensationalized in the US...but to each their own :)

    I am from Doncaster UK. I am now 41
    1st child born when I was 25
    Babies 2+3 arrived when I was 33.
    Reasons for large gap new relationship and 1st child autistic needed to make sure time was right for him we realised after 3 years the time was never going to be right for him. Don't regret it for a second..
    I am a midwife the oldest mum I have known was 45 the youngest 12.

    I am from Scotland and I was 24 when I had my first child (25 for my 2nd and 26 for my 3rd) I am 45 now.
