Also Girl Next Door and Irreversible

    yes and yes yes!!

Jack Katchem's the girl next door was based on the true story about Sylvia Lycans and Gertrude Benichefski.. A more realistic movie based on this story is "an american crime".. also can be seen in investigation discovery's "deadly 'women" on netflix.

I remembered another one. "Don't Look Now" with Donald Sutherland. When he catches up with the red raincoat ... lets just say that still frightens me.

Love horror! I don't really get scared (or scarred) anymore, but I was ...disturbed by this list:

    The Girl Next Door
Last Houst on the Left (origional)
    Clockwork Orange

Emily Rose is the last movie to scare the *kitten* out of me.
Human Centipide 2 was disgusting, and because of that AWESOME! What a great bad guy! The first one was boring.
The Audition was cool if you're a fan of Japanese horror.
For some reason I saw the part of Watership Down where Bigwig is caught in a wire when I was five and that messed me up for a while.

I will be Netflixing some of these I haven't seen.
    Great list and topic!

I remember the Girl Next Door - that movie is based (loosely) on an actual case (Sylvia Likens).

"I Spit on Your Grave". Most horrendous violence against a woman and then her revenge. Had trouble taking baths for a looooong time after that.

I've always been a fan of Horror movies but after having a child I can't watch The Hills Have Eyes. In the beginning when they take the baby I just turned it off and was like nope can't do this.

A movie called "feed" it was about a guy who had big girl fetishes and he used to feed them til they died... and people use to watch online.. I believe these things always derive from some sort of truth.. Totally sick!!

I've been meaning to watch that movie..

It was nicely done. Check out "The Woman" also, -it think thats the name, it's onNetflix

I've seen it.. i actually felt angry about that one.. i'm not really a feminist but i felt like it was a very demeaning movie for women..

Yea, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Was it feminist? Was it just thinly velied tourture porn? Idk, but I like that it made me have a response. So much horror I watch and I'm just like "meh"

it depends on the context weather i[m like meh or not.. if there is hidden meaning, i tend to find it.. i don't know if it was just me or not but, i found a distinct lack of feminine power. the man teaching his son his views on women.. the wife's position in the family.. the fact that the woman in the movie is practically a caveman.. it has so many anti feminist undertones.. not even undertones.. just blatant woman bashing! as i said.. i'm not a feminist.. but still a woman and i was pretty effected.
