    How many calories you eat a day? Was dong 1350, now 1450, upping slowly as I get close to maintenance weight.

    Goal when I was 20 to stay at 120lbs. when I look back at my pictures I looked like a skeleton!
    Goal now: Healthy at 135-140

    Starting weight: 145lbs with a 29.5" waist.
    Current weight: 126lbs with a 26" waist.
    I don't really have a goal weight. I have fitness goals that I want to achieve, but the most important thing is just to keep improving myself in any way possible, and to not backslide.
    Calorie intake: Anywhere from 1200 to 2000 depending on how hungry I am. I'm trying to focus on upping my net intake on high intensity days, but it's surprisingly challenging.

    How many calories you eat a day? I used to eat 1300, upped to 1500, and have most recently shifted to 1600. Some days I eat more, others less. I'm trying to slowly creep towards maintenance so that when I do hit maintenance its not a shock to my system haha

    Not healthy. People like this are some of the issues I have with MFP posters.

    I normally don't like to criticize others' goals, but I am going to say one time that I cringe when I see stuff like this. 110lbs, unless a person is VERY finely structured at 5'5", its WAY underweight and UNhealthy. MFP is about being healthy, not solely fitting into a size 0. We all know the consequences of eating this little and being so underweight - they might not present themselves right away, but a whole host of health issues await someone like this, which are just as bad as someone who is very over weight.

    Please consult a physician (a real one) before embarking on, or continuing, this kind of eating plan. And, if necessary, a mental health professional who will be honest with you. This makes me fear for a whole generation of young women.

    I agree. That post bothered me too. MFP is not about starving yourself to get skinny!!!

    I lift heavy 3 days a week and do cardio 5 days a week. I also alway eat at least 100g of protein a day.

    How many calories you eat a day? I'm in maintenance, currently set at 1900, but I eat more than that pretty much daily, as I generally eat back exercise calories.

    I was working out 6 days a week most weeks while still trying to lose. Once I finished the DVD I was working on in Sept/Oct, I cut back to 3-4 times per week as I was continuing to lose and wasn't meaning to. Even when eating 2500 calories or more several days each week. I started as a US size 12 and am now wearing US 4s & 6s.
