Met any of your MFPs in real life?

I`ve met one MFP in real life. We started by PM`ing each other, then exchanged phone numbers, then she invited me to come stay with her for a weekend. I drove for an hour, took a 40 minute ferry ride, and drove another 10 minutes. Well worth the trip. Funny, opinionated, wonderful person! And I had a blast being shown around the area and meeting her granddaughter.
Would like to meet more of my local MFP friends someday.0 -

I was just thinking that I wish there was a conference/Event we could all attend and meet some of the people we've made friends with on here!

In short: About 7 of us there.....I was the youngest (22) and the rest were (30-42).....one turned out to be my old Girl Scout Leader (AWKWARD!!!!)....we all went back to the hotel for "after party"....only 5 stayed.....only 1 dude.....there was previous drama between the one dude and a few of the other older women.....2 of them treated me like I was 4 years old.....stopped me from "leaving with older guy", when I wanted to just go home b/c it got hella lame (she threatened to call 5-0 LMAO).....now none of them talk to me.....TOTALLY MESSED UP!0 -
An interesting and yet spooky idea. I haven't met any that I hadn't known previous to signing up. I'm still NOOB but I'm not sure if I ever want to meet anyone IRL. After all this isn't really real. This is our semi honest facade where we present our better side and omit all the creepy crap our friends and family forgive us for.
For those of you who have and it's worked out I sincerely envy you. You're bolder than I ever will be and inspire me to open up a little more.0 -

I've met 2. One from Florida and another from Georgia.
Meeting another MFPer from Canada in January. He's flying here to run a half marathon with me. (edit to say I forgot he deactivated his account recently, so I guess he's no longer a true MFPer)
