alo, just another thing. I hate it when people troll and make these threads about crap that isn't even real. I come here for information and inspiration and have actually honest to god learned a few things from people speaking in the forums. Why do people make these joke threads that toss around misinformation for kicks???

You profile says your diet philosophy is "grains, 1g protein/lb LBM".... yay. You wasted my time, as well as any newbie on here who is just trying to figure out WTF to do to get in shape.

    Let's unbunch your panties here.

There's no such thing as food that's low in protein, carbs and fat. There is no way to eat 1900 calories with no macronutrients. Sorry that it took you a while to figure that out.

I was actually just being polite to you becuase I assumed you were ignorant, rather than rude. My mistake.

Some people take stuff so seriously! I've had a delightful time watching this thread.... Any newbie could also use the SEARCH function... all the same stuff is asked all the time, no? Hence the funny post!

and if she isn't eating protein and she's squating 180, I'd really like to see the form used on the squat. Maybe she has high testosterone or something, but I just don't see how it's possible.

WOAH buddy. There is no need to start bashing my form on SQUATZ or accusing me of having hormonal problems. Let's reign in the judgy judginess here.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is a joke.

And I don't think its judgmental, as someone who had to accept my form was off when I was squatting 170. What do you eat if you don't eat fats, carbs, or proteins???

and for the record, that's one hormonal problem i wish i had. I have a friend with high testoterone and she looks like a body builder while doing nothing!

You're still trying to figure out if it's a joke? I hope for your sake that you're pretty. :D

wait. You want to squat 180 and you want to restrict your protein intake??? This defies everything I understand about how our bodies work. I thought you need to eat high protein to build muscle.

    YES! You are spot on

OP - if this is the case then im afraid you are contradicting yourself!
having LOW everything will not work if you want to squat that much.

Jeez, i'm done trying to help.
Obviously some people find it hard to accept the truth and are set in there own ways and ideas that they refuse to accept anybody else's information.
You will get ill if you keep this fad diet up over a long period!
Overall we care about your health and what do we get back? People telling us that it is wrong not to encourage you!
I wish you all the best with this, but i do hope you can get past this and seek professional nutritional help who can give this the go ahead or advise against it.

I left and had a nutritious lunch of potato chips (its a veggie and the carbs are lower than french fries because they're thinner!) and you still haven't figured out this is a joke? You know, funny ha-ha, leg-pulling, a farce, good ol' tom foolery? Poor thing.

Edit: got trolled, thought as much.

There's a variety of things you can get. Cereal, oatmeal, noodles, protein powder, coffee, beans, etc. Just dump out the contents and eat the packaging. That should fit nicely.

Skittles, they have like 3 calories each. So if you cut them in 7 or more they round down to zero. And you can have as many 1/7 th of a skittle as you want. Truth.

I totally just posted in response to OP. I didn't spend any time reading the entire thread which probably woulda made it clear.

    My mistake. Shoulda known.

But for the record, a lot of people do post ignorant crap on here...obvi's OP's point in posting. But some people are painfully misinformed. There are people who genuinely have ED's and when they post in MFP, i think it makes more sense to give them information and treat them respectfully than to mock people.

Sorry I wasn't in on the joke and I approached you as if you were serious. My bad. Why do i keep caring about people, particularly when on MFP it always ends up in people being rude to me, I don't know.

Thank you for this! Who are you who are so wise in the ways of science?

For the OP - I've been on a full macro low diet (FML Diet) for some time now. I've kept net cals at 1000 while building lean mass and targeting the stomach area for spot reduction fat loss. Has been working like a champ. Good luck and keep the press on.

Edited because I see what he did here...lol

Interestingly enough, many others here have a similar story to yours, they're just further along...that they so often tried to help people who desperately needed help by providing serious information, only to be called rude...to the point that eventually, they felt like they had to find other, more creative ways to convey their important message.

Perhaps, for example, like OP's post. If you step back and look at it big picture, you'll see that the underlying message is legit.

ETA: And it was funny too.

Yes, it was brilliant. I caught the sarcasm right away... and then started scrolling through pages and pages of people who found the post believable and logical and had their own just as believable and logical advice. Not. LMFAO!!!

Brilliantly executed OP, brilliant. When I responded, I thought you were just being a troll; though I have encountered many serious posts that are shockingly quite similar. Well, you were being a troll, but there's a lesson to be learned. Of course, those that need to learn it, didn't catch on... LOL

I hope this is a joke because if it's not you are

    Rude and totally uncalled for.

ever heard of the first amendment to the United States Constitution?
Ever hear of the rules for posting on this site?

Restriction of free speech cannot be in place.

Ever hear of the Mayflower Compact?

Again my friend, using evidence that has nothing to do with my culture and are not in place where i live just goes over my head.
    Use things in context
Yet you have no problem hiding behind the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights like a garden variety hippy.

Are there other varieties of hippies? "Garden variety" gets thrown around an awful lot.

    No. Reference: Green movement

Makes sense. Thought there might be some "forest", "mountain", or "municipal park" varieties.
