3/12 - home workout with weights - 25 mins total 200+ reps of various arm exercises with 3kg weights, 5 min cardio workout (phew). No specific walking today but busy office day and over 11000 steps achieved :-)
4/12 - 65 min gym session - running, rowing, cycling and some weights and stretching. Lots of walking round my office again - I had done over 2 miles by 10.30 this morning! Burnt enough to treat myself to my favourite christmas treat - wensleydale cheese with cranberries - yummy :-)

:flowerforyou: jdforshort, my feet feel great all the time.....I have worked up gradually to walking that much....on cold mornings I wear Columbia Bugaboots (rated to keep your feet warm down to -25 degrees), on warmer wet days I wear New Balance waterproof shoes, and for line dancing and dry weather walking I wear Sketchers Shape-Ups......I don't do all the walking at once......40 minutes first thing in the morning....90 minutes after breakfast.....other walks 20-40 minutes in the afternoon....and two hour line dance three days a week.

Hi everyone, great to find this site and this message board. I was wondering how to input certain exercises. I tried to put in resistance bands into the my daily exercise schedule and it won't accept it. Is there a list of exercises that it will accept? Thanks:tongue:

When you are are on the add exercise page, type "a" in the box and click on "search." That will display a list of all the exercises in the MFP database. You can do this for cardio and strength. If I don't see exactly what I've done, I usually choose something like "aerobics, general" or "upper body strength." But below the selection box is an option to add your own custom exercises if you want.

You're welcome. We have a nice big group this month.
