My dinner last night - oyakodon with tomato slices and cheese on a bowl of rice

I made this for my husband last night. The breading and rice make it not LC friendly, so I didn't have any.
It's my take on Chicken Cordon Bleu (I made a home made cheese sauce w. bacon, broccoli, and sharp cheddar with a dash of cream. I also used bacon instead of ham inside, and added some mushroom and a few bits of onion. The breading is just a basic Italian style breading. It is yellowish on top because I baked my sauce into it as well.)
I was told it tasted pretty yummy despite it looking gross lol.

Check out your local rec center for classes - they can teach you the basics. Or if you have a family member or friend who's willing to teach you, that's great too. There are also great instructional videos on YouTube. I also use Pinterest to find recipes.0 -

We were given the 'starter' for a "friendship cake" you have to stir it and feed it for 10 days, then you divide it into 4, cook one, and give the other's away. I added walnuts and banana's.

Yup, They are suppose to be poached eggs but they tasted more like boiled rubber covered in a oil sauce0 -

OMG my friend told me to try the coconut butter with molasses on a sweet potato and it is amazing! Coconut butter isn't as nutty as other nut butters (I giggle every time I say that), and the molasses is malty and slightly sweet. I add a little salt and pepper too. And as for my cat, yeah, she went for it (but didn't get it).0
