deeva - That slow cooker lamb looks awesome. Can you share the recipe? I have some lamb to use up but not quite sure what to do with it. and I LOVE the slow cooker!

A tin of apricots, drained. A tin of tomatoes, thyme. Into the slow cooker. 6hrs. Done.
Awesome - except i've never seen canned apricots. Ever.
What cut of lamb do you use - Chops?

finally something that Aussies get that the Canadians at least don't

They used to come in cans, and now they come in like plastic jars, and I didn't know what to call them. Jars? Tubs?

I used shoulder chops this time, but you can use leaner cuts.

Double bacon, caramelized onion and bacon jam and whipped chipotle cream cheese burgers

You sir shouldn't be allowed to post on this thread...
Just kidding! It's just that your meals look so damn tempting but I know for a fact that I will never burn as much calories as you do to allow myself this kind of food on a regular basis... :grumble:

LOL I could live off of his leftovers alone!!

I'm sorry, what's a leftover? I'm unfamilar with the term :blushing:

LOL Just as I suspected!

Awesome. Thanks for the advice - although Im still not sure we have those, either. I'll take a look next time I'm at the store and report back! Apricots, tomatoes and thyme seem like a strange mix but I'll give it a go! Thanks again!

banana rum pancakes made with steel cut oats. some of the best pancakes i've ever made. hard to believe that something made with steel cut oats, whole wheat flour, and flax meal could be so fluffy (yet very hearty and filling).

My supper I had today. Pork chop with homemade applesauce, Mediterranean quinoa, and boiled carrots. And homemade wine from my Aunty.
