can you share the cinnamon bread made with apple sauce? Yours looks great!

2 cups flour (can use regular, gf or wheat)
1 cup sugar (or stevia blend for diabetics)
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2tsp ground cinnamon
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup unsweetened applesace (used to replace 1/4 cup oil)
    2 eggs
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 tbsp white sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 tsp margerine or butter

    makes 1 loaf

preheat oven to 350 and grease the pan

measure flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, salt, buttermilk, applesauce, eggs and vanilla into large mixing bowl. beat 3 minutes. pour into prepared loaf pan. smooth top

combine 2 tablespoons white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and butter, mixing until crumbly. sprinkle topping over smoothed batter. using knife, cut in a light swirling motion to give a marbled effect

bake for about 50 minutes. test with toothpick. when inserted it should come out clean. remove bread from pan to rack to cool.

Here is the base waffle recipe (I recently adjusted it a bit because its just a little too much and overflows out of my waffle maker):

    1/4 cup cottage cheese
8g sugar free jello mix (you can use any flavor, I typically go with vanilla)
2 Tbsp milk of your choice
6 Tbsp Egg Whites (I do 2 servings of Just Whites)
3 Tbsp Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

Then I add in about 3/4 scoop of whatever protein powder flavor I'm feeling - I have found that Cellucor is really great for these waffles.

Blend it all up and cook in your waffle maker.

The old recipe used 1/4 cup oats and a full scoop of protein powder. I just scaled them back a bit but you could use the whole amount if it fits in your waffle maker.

Thanks! I use Cellucor as well and love it. My favorite is PBM, with CS second and CnC third.
