Whole wheat toasted with olive oil

Simple weeknight dinner. Starter of salad with halved grapes and blue cheese. Main of spaghetti aglio olio.

Soy Sauce Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak and Blackened Cabbage with Brown Butter. I made a couple small changes to the cabbage recipe: didn't use kombu; replaced the flaky sea salt with tamari.
P.S. If anyone cares... my last post should have said turchetta, not porchetta

A delicious avocado. And chilled tomato soup with a drizzle of olive oil.

Okra and green beans from the garden, chicken meatballs and corn. I did the okra in the air fryer, and it's Good Enough. Nothing beats deep frying sadly

Yum 😋 if I was in a desert island.. I think the one fruit I would want with me is the avocado! Looks great! Funny enough.. I never ate them as a child.4 -

Collard greens salad with chicken, bell pepper, and roasted butternut squash. There's a little feta in it too, and pepitas (pumpkin seeds). I used this recipe but omitted the maple syrup, used only one shallot, and cut back on the butternut squash. It is utterly delicious, and looks beautiful too.

We went out to a new Chinese in the neighbourhood that was soft launching with 40% off food. So I ordered the whole lobster.

Spent last week in NYC:
Corned beef sandwich
Mexican restaurant called Cilantro. It was a very hot day and the frozen margarita was a great choice.
Ramen spot near my hotel. Absolutely fabulous:

Morning - 🌞
Breakfast - trying to get more protein in.
Smoked salmon, asparagus, eggs, protein and leafy greens açaí shake.
•360 calories / 50 grams of protein.

Starter of Cantonese Lo Bak Gao (turnip cake) followed by Isaan Larb Gai (minced chicken salad).

"Greek Salad" wrap. Seasoned, shredded chicken, my favorite homemade feta spread/dip, tomatoes, red onion, mini cucumber, kalamata olives, whole wheat wrap. Good stuff. 1.5 of these is about 600 and some odd calories.4
