Thank for the input guys (gals ) I'll have to think about how I feel taking my measurements LOL.
Really though, how interesting- diet and exercise really do work. I do know that the money I spent on larger pants last month may have been wasted (YAY!) because they're definitely gettin' loose! Have a good one y'all!0 -
Belated Season's Greetings to everybody! I know I definitely indulged in a bit more than I should have... but overall, I did well, food-wise the past couple of days. Today I'm fully back on board!

It has been an interesting year for this group. I have enjoyed every minute of time I can spend with fellow weight controllers. I weighed Jan 1 2010 at 345lbs and Jan 1 2011 at 314lbs. That is about 2 pounds a month is what my Dr wants me to lose. It will take forever to get below 200, but I will keep posting and with any control I should be there by 5 years. Hope you guys don't mind hanging around that long. :bigsmile:

Congrats chip gal! This is my new names my fellow groupies. Same as last but 2011 at the end. Had problems with my old account. Hope everyone had a great new year. Iv logged for three days straight. Have been mostly on target for my first goal is just to make sure i record everyday so I am more aware!

I dunno how much weight I've lost since I don't have a scale, but when I started I was just over 150 pounds, and in December I was just over 140, so around I've lost around 10. Body fat % went from 33% to 28%, so still some work to do there and I went from a size 10/12 to 8. Woohoo0

Hello everyone, Do not know what happened to January, but I'm back on target and keeping a food diary this month. I gained a few pounds between Jan1 and Dr visit but he was still happy with a loss for year. Glad to see everyone still posting. EEK I too can tell when I eat the wrong foods. Seems our bodies are trying to help us with weight control.

Well folks I am here. Not the best I have been. Family still living ith me. It is taking its toll on all of us including my kids. Afraid I am getting addicted to carbs and sugar again! It has been a while since i Had this issue. But hopefully I can nip it in the bud. Cant chat long but wanted to check in. I miss you all and will yell at you later. xoxox

Just received a new treadmill for walking indoors during this bad winter. Hurt my ankle first day. Will let ankle heal and try again, takes some getting use to.

speaking of feet, i did something to my achilles tendon this weekend :grumble: went to the doctor, and they just said take advil and it that doesn't work, get orthotics. pretty sure orthotics aren't gonna help, seeing as it's not something i've had for a long time... but whatever. i'm just gonna rest it, ice it, and take some advil, i guess.0 -

Been walking about a mile every other day. Working on doing it faster every time I'm on the treadmill. Seems like it is working.

I had a bad day yesterday... not even a day really, more like a bad meal, i guess. :frown: but i'm back in it today. the funny thing is since it's becoming visible that i'm losing weight, my family all of a sudden thinks it's ok to shower me with junk food, and that makes it a lot harder!! and if i had willpower of steel, i probably wouldn't even be overweight right now! gah.
Anyways besides that it's all good for me Chip, Glad to hear your ankle is getting better and that you're walking faster every time! Sounds awesome.

Started tracking food today. I go see a specialist Dr and I am sure that they will want to see what I'm eating. I always lose when I keep track of intake so I hope it helps with showing them what I am doing.

Just checking in How's everybody doing? I'm doing pretty well. I actually went on a run this morning for the first time in a while! Felt good, but now my legs are a bit tired... I guess that's a good thing, though!

My new Dr. is going to scold me I missed 3 days worth of logging in my eating. I completed a complete half mile on new treadmill (took me 15 minutes) My ankle is doing much better, I think the walking helps.

Oh :indifferent: I thought I had posted but I don't see it here... huh. Weird.
I was in Europe for the past two weeks. Had an amazing time. Now I'm back in full force! Didn't have consistent internet, so my logging streak will have to be started all over :grumble: .

Hello Ladies, & gent??
HI ladies! I am sorry it has been a while. I have been busy and stressed an now destressing. Thank goodness. I also just got back from vacation in Fl for springbreak. It was a blast! Nice and relaxing the only bad thing is I sunburned my lips and broke out in cold sores! 4 on one fricken lip! ugghh!!!
Any way a lot has been going on I have been driving myslef crazy... my food is insane my weight is up and down with in 5 pounds. But my eating is not healthy although I keep trying to work on it. I am trying to track here again to try to track my fiber and protien just to see.... I have to get off the sugar well coffee...maybe its the sugar in the coffee but I love starbucks iced coffee with toffee nut syrup and caramel drizzle if it was not for the coffee my sugar and carbs would be awsome lol. I cant even track them cause it is not the norm drink.
Any way i have been back to the gym on and off again this week hubby is gone and my mil will be here tomorrow but I am trying to stay at the gym... my thought is I will do great at the gym for the next month and then school will get out and I wont go cause I like to sleep lol. But I want to try.. I really liek it when I was working out with weights i like the way i look i just have to stick to it lol. I knwo the more muscle i have the more calories I burn to.. so I am workin on it!
Any way talk to m ladies and tell me how yall are doin??
