    3 days of festivities here:

12/23 ate with mother and siblings: turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie.

12/24 ate with cousin and her family: beef tenderloin, broccoli casserole, twice baked potatoes, strawberry spinach salad, coconut pie, apple pie with raisins and walnuts

12/25: if the weather holds, we will be going back to cousin's for annual Christmas chili party and probably fudge.

    Breakfast:

bacon and eggs and English muffins.

    Lunch:

probably not more than an apple or something to tide me over till dinner

    Dinner:

Honey baked ham, roasted Brussels sprouts, green salad, trifle for dessert, sparkling cider (I don't drink alcohol), mashed celeriac with potato, corn, and rolls.

Yes I am going over and NO!!! I don't care. It's one of only two times a year i am not compulsively watching every calorie and I am loving it.

Cooking my husbands requests for the day. Biscuits with tomato gravy for breakfasts & eggs. Red Beans with conecuh sausage over rice & cornbread for dinner. Can you tell I am from south Louisiana? We wemt to my Moms last week and had the traditional cornbread dressing so today is just for him. Tomorrow, I am back on my low carb plan and hopefully nothing else involving major eating until Valentines!

Not heard of tomato gravy. My husband is big on chocolate gravy on biscuits, or sour cream/sugar on biscuits. And of course wilted lettuce.

However we are having spagetti as my teen works in a few hours. Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It's a tradition.

Honestly, I am trying to eat healthy for my holidays...yes i know we can "indulge" but i still chose to make good decisions for my holiday meal.

Breakfast: 3eggs scrambled, thomas bagel thin-wheat
    Lunch: something light...
dinner: cornish game hen, yams, spinach, cauliflower, small serving of stuffing.

there is only 3 of us for dinner, so i'm not making a whole lot of food.

Breakfast was 2 cups of coffee and two pieces of wheat toast.
Lunch was leftover ham from Sunday (we had Christmas then bc so many of us had to work today), and some herbed baby red potatoes
Dinner will probably just be some soup and an apple
And for dessert, a homemade fudgie brownie.
