    Credit score only counts on dates...............................when the other person has no cash and credit and you always end up paying.

    I'm not sure I'd bring it up on a first date, but I agree with everyone who says it's and important character reference. If someone can't manage their money, they are probably irresponsible in other facets of life. It's probably a discussion to be had before getting into serious relationship. I could never marry someone with severely bad debt, so I wouldn't want to waste the time developing a relationship with someone in that position.
