    I want to join! I'm going for more like 1/2 a pound a week because my weight comes off so slow from my losing/gaining/losing history. It comes off harder every time! gah. But I definitely want to shoot for a pound a week. My ultimate goal weight is 130 but that's like my ~dream weight~ I'm at 157 now but I'd like to get to 140-145 this year.

    I'm in! I tried doing fad diets and quick fixes but I've learned that slow and steady wins the race. So far I've average one pound a week for the last 3 weeks so this is a great challenge to keep me motivated.

  • Count me in as well! I'm here on mfp for some time now but haven't lost anything. I was off running this year and gained few lbs back. I guess I am around 180lbs and will love to get down to 150. Next step is to get a new scale Monday and report back.
    My strategy is to set this goal and have fun achieving it. I will get back running in 2013 and 'enjoy' every minute of it so help me god! I will fall in love with hills again :)

    I am in for the slow, steady, healthy weight loss! I need to lose up to 20 pounds.

  • i have been on this site over a year. I've lost weight then gained it all back and some. Now I'm committed for 2013 to lose the weight. I weigh 180 right now, and I need to get down to 100, but losing 50 lbs in a year (1 lb a week) would be great. I have type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol. I would love to be able to stop my medications and feel better about myself. I just really need the motivation to stay on track.

    I am in! Everyone in this group please feel free to friend me. My CW-189 and my UW-155. I have been on here consistently since June of 2012 with a very slow start but since October I have been losing at a rate of .5lbs a week. I would love to lose 1lb a week.
