Count me in, I have to up my exercise as I am getting married in March and need to lose a few lbs. I have been laid up recovering from an operation for the last 10 weeks so starting on the 1st Jan I will be getting back on my feet.
Just logging in with my step update, so far today I've reached 10,978 steps and it isn't bed time yet. .. :happy:0 -

okay yesterday I barely made 5,000; however I was more active by not sitting on my butt the whole day, but was putting away decor from Christmas and stuff. How do you get 10000 steps in a day...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am having a hard tiome doing this :sad:0

When I started I found I would have days under 2,000 steps and had lots of days under 5,000.
I usually try to get some time on my treadmill first thing in the morning during the winter. I usually add steps after dinner too by taking a walk outside unless it is cold. In the winter I am sometimes back on the treadmill.
To up my step count through out the day, I do not use the closest bathroom at work, park a bit further out in parking lots and march in place while waiting for the microwave (so long as no one is around). I will march or jog in place while brushing my teeth or any other time I think no one is watching me.0
