    hello.
i am just join your community.hope you will accept me.

    well,
Cycling accounts for the best outdoor cardio exercise.
It pushes your leg muscles and boosts your endurance efficiently. Just 30 minutes of cycling and the calorie count that burns ranges between 250-300, depending on your speed and resistance. The best part is, Cycling can be easily included without making many changes in your routine. You can drive to your work place, can replace your evening walk with cycling. Moreover it is a low impact exercise and takes care of your joints.

The one way that I heard of to estimate miles is to compare it to road riding and an HRM. This is only an example because each person is different and I have not seen you spin. I would estimate that for 40-45 minutes that you are riding somewhere between 8-11 miles. You are not really pushing miles during warmup or warm down which is part of your 45 minutes spin. If your instructor has you doing a stand-sit repeat ( I hate that) You are doing less miles. If you increase your resistance you are not riding big miles either.
a lot of spin videos concentrate on heart rate and cadence.
To get more then 10 miles in 45 minutes you'd have to be better then an avid cyclist and then if that were true you would not be asking about spin mileage. Just saying no harm intended.

I'll get down with this challenge! I'm shooting for 250 indoor "miles" (16 hours) this month with a top end goal of 300 (19 hours). I am using my Tarmac on a Kurt Kinetic Rock n Road trainer along with Sufferfest training videos to keep things interesting. This is what I have so far through the first nine days of January:

    Count: 7 Activities
    Distance: 96.81 mi
    Time: 6:00:04 h:m:s
    Avg Speed: 16.1 mph
    Avg HR: 143 bpm
    Avg Cadence: 92 rpm
    Calories: 3,524 C

Spin classes are usually pretty rigorous. Some train to heart rate, others to level of exersion, etc. Since my classes are at least as rigorous as my road miles, I usually assume about the same mileage in an hour as I would get on the road. Speed alone doesn't really tell you much because it is usually up to the individual to adjust the resistance. Ideally you would measure average watts but most indoor spin bikes are normally not that sophisticated.

I actually got an opportunity to ride my two-wheeled pedal cycle outside this morning! If you'd have told me it would be 55 degrees at 11 a.m. in Michigan today, I would have thought you were sniffing glue. Oh, happy day!
