  • Corn tortilla
    strip of turkey bacon

    And of course Coffee

    All under 400 calories

    The last two days I've had porridge with a teaspoon of honey and chopped up banana....YUMMY!! = 267 cals

    Today was a cup of coffee, a banana, and a crumpet with half a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. 235 calories. But a lot of times recently I've been having a half a cup of cottage cheese with either peaches or pears, sometimes with a half a bagel with almond butter. That clocks in a little higher but it keeps me filled through work ;)

    Two scoops of protein shake = 100 cals, 0 carbs
    Two eggs = 140 cals, 1 carb
    1 sl pepper jack processed cheese food = 70 cals, 2 carb (for a spicy egg scramble)
    2 mugs of coffee with 1 Tbl heavy whipping cream each = 104 cal, .08 carbs

    Total: 514 cals, 3.8 carbs, 64.3 protein. 23.5 fat, 512 sodium.

    I won't eat this until about 10:00 when I start getting hungry. I know it's large, but I won't be hungry again until late afternoon.
    Then, I have more coffee and protein only. Sometimes I only have 1 shake with breakfast and have the other in the late afternoon meal.

    My goal is about 1000 cals, less than 10 carbs, 89 protein, and under 1,000 sodium.

    Of course, I'm a low-low carber, so my food intake is different from most.

    Porridge (oatmeal for you lovely folk across the Atlantic) with milled flax, almond milk, peanut butter and strawberry whey mixed in and a cuppa tea. Delicious, filling and 365kcal :)

    green tea with vanilla - 1 cal

    Alternate - same but boiled egg with spinach and tomato on crispbread

    Smoothie

    6 tbsps pasturized egg white- 60 calories
    8oz trop 50 red orange- 80ish calories
    1.5 cups of Dole frozen mixed fruit (mango, pineapple, peaches, strawberries and cherries) 105 calories.

    Drank it before 8am and still not hungry at 12 noon!

    Love my smoothies!

    I had a turkey sandwich with mustard and Colby Jack! I had a handful of potato chips too shame on me! but the calorie count was 429! =]

    Lately a smoothie with the following

    1 cup ice
    1/2 cup frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup vanilla Greek no fat yogurt
    1 banana
    1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/2 cup vanilla almond milk

    It's around 390 calories but keeps me full until lunch. If it is a lot you can always make this and put half in a mason jar and freeze it in the freezer for later (I do this, too)

    Pre Run- Half a bannana, some green tea, two cups of water.

    Post Run- Two more cups of water, green tea, half a serving of greek yogurt mixed with Kashi GoLean Crunch Berries, and fresh strawberries.

    ( i added some in water solved swettener, makes it tastier and raises the quantety without raising the caloriecontent :) )

    8 egg whites
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    pepper
    1/2 cup skim milk
    half green pepper
    half medium onion
    1 cup ham cubes
    1/2 cup broccoli
    1/2 cup light shredded cheese

    i think that's it.. yum!

    only 65 ish calories a muffin

    280 cal looked gross( the omellette fell apart on the foldover LOL) but was yummmm!

    Pre-workout breakfast this morning:

    3/4 cup southwestern egg beater scrambled omelette with fresh mushrooms and onions and 2% cheddar, 3 slices lower sodium bacon, 1 slice toast, coffee with fat free 1/2 & 1/2

    398 calories and worth every one of them!
