Serious question about milk

If I'm looking for a good protein, fat, immune system booster, should I drink human breast milk? I see people sell it online, and it seems pretty green (women don't produce as much methane as cows, or so I'm told).
Could I just mix it in a protein shake to disguise the taste?

Well you know... technically ALL milk is breast milk. :huh:0

I think it's a good idea. You're a really brave woman for being willing to step into new frontiers.0

My boobs are NOT your dinner buffet! :mad:0

Why would you want to disguise the taste?? It's delicious (as long as it's fresh!) Also if you can make sure you get a good mix of foremilk and hindmilk because the colostrum is very important to a balanced drink. I didn't have that luxury because we have an 18 month old and he would always get first suckle.0

I've heard it tastes like the milk left over in a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch.0

They make breastmilk ice cream! You can buy it online. I'm sorta curious to taste it, but the fat content is astronomical...0

I saw on a bravo TV show that there is a service in NYC for surrogate breast milk and you can get it in different "flavors" and micronutrient profiled depending on the woman's diet, etc. You can get a sampler menu to try the various flavors to see what appeals to you.

I think it's a great idea. Cow milk was made for baby cows. It makes much more sense for humans to drink human milk. Plus, human milk is sweeter and tastes better than cow milk.0

Colostrum is gone after the first few days, but yes, getting foremilk and hindmilk are a good idea for making sure to get the fat with the rest of it.0 -
I would seriously question the quality of said milk- is it being pumped in a clean manner? Sterilized bottles? What is the diet of the milk provider like? And so on... Highly, highly, risky. That being said, my poor sleep deprived husband accidentally put some of my boob juice in his coffee shortly after my daughter was born. He said it tasted pretty good.0

is this for real?0

How embarrassing. I clearly was talking out of my *kitten*. It looks like they have supplements though!

I honestly think this is a question for a health professional due to risk of disease. You don't know if the breast milk your buying online has been tested for any communicable diseases. Be safe!0

Don't disguise the taste because it tastes good. And do make it into ice cream.
One time I had a yogurt that said "Made with the milk of human kindness on it". So, I held the container in such a way that my hand was over the word kindness, held it up and said, "Look, this yogurt was made from the milk of human's, it says it right here!". It was hilarious watching the reaction of my husband (he was my boyfriend at the time) and our roommate. My husband's reaction was the funniest, though (he almost fell out of his chair).0 -
Oh, you can milk just about anything with nipples.0

It is great if you blend it with strawberries and a little crushed ice.0
