I have been on a 1500 cal/day regiment for the past month. I don't feel hungry but I think I will have trouble trying to maintain 1200/day. I need to get the cardio in for 4 times a week but I have gotten so lazy over the past year.
I just joined this forum bucause I am constantly reminding myself that I am over weight. and would like to get back to my motivational old self. this will help sharing and caring with others.0 -

I have lost 10lbs since January and I must admit I haven't been perfect but am 80% more active than I was. So it is my 30th in a little over a month and I really want to get to my goal weight. Exercise wise I am doing spin 2 x a week, badminton 2x a week and trying to do weights 3-4 x a week. Can someone help me with my diet as I'm not counting calories as I find it really difficult. I need someone to write a food diary for me ha0 -

my goal weight is around 175 or 180, solid. I was 160 once and I didn't really like it. I looked like a small letter b; flat chest and basketball butt. Good body, I want it back, dammit!
Stressed out this weekend over moving, stupid landlady not having apartment ready, and I was baking for my 3 year "clean" anniversary. Suffice it to say I ate a lot of choco chip cookies and a few fingers of cake batter. They will be out of the house by tonight. Gag, it makes me sick thinking of it. (feeling sorry for myself and angry about not working out for four days. Stupid cookies! I made them, they are good.)

Start toning NOW while your are losing. Trust me, I'm not kidding. You should do it together. it will be better and you may get to your goal faster incorporating the exercise with the healthful eating.0 -

GW- I'm starting at a goal of 198 (onederland), and we'll see how I look/feel at that point for how much more to lose.
Exercise- I switch it up each day...every other day I do cardio for about 30 minutes, and the opposite ones I do weights/strength training for about 30 minutes. I rest two days of the week.
Weight loss per week- 1.5 pounds
Calories: MFP has me set at about 1750...I waver a bit from that, going higher or lower on some days, eating my exercise calories some days and not others, etc.
My goals are to lower my body fat, gain more muscle, and look better in clothes in smaller sizes.
I like your goal weight. It's nice to see someone your height who wants to be fit and figured. You go grrl!0 -

Calories burnt per day - Depends on the day - yoga day is about 155, circuit training is about 440. Saturday I jogged 8 miles and got about 1000

Exercise - Average about an hour of exercise 6 days/week. I do at least one Jillian DVD workout 6 days a week. Then I either do another Jillian workout or jump on the treadmill for another 30 minutes, depending on time. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can get outside and exercise! I don't do well in the cold!
Daily calorie intake - I average about 1600 - 2000 calories.

I am set at 1430 calories per day on rest days, but on run days, I can burn up to 1,000 calories. I do my best NOT to eat many of those calories back because it is too easy for me to justify eating ALL of them back!
I try to run at least 4 days a week, with a long run on Saturdays.
I eat mostly vegetables and protein, and find that I do much better when I limit carbs.0 -

MFP is currently giving me 1,470 (I think? it literally just changed today) to lose a pound a week.
It's so hard to know what you "should" weigh and what will look good when you're tall. My boyfriend loves me where I am right now and doesn't want me to lose anymore - he actually prefers me with a bit more weight. BMI wants me at around 168 to be at the top end of the "healthy" range.0 -

I just started back up with dieting and I eat about 1700-2000 calories mostly due to the fact I do quite rigorous exercise, meaning I go to the gym 8 times a week and I dance 3-4 times a week. Most days I burn off around 600-700 calories with exercise and I am generally quite active during the day. I find it very hard to maintain weight when I get down to the 120s my body just always wants to be this weight regardless of what I do!0 -
