    My mom is like that, too. Multiple times I've told her I want to go on a diet. The incident I remember most is when I told her I was going to try a diet that has a beginning two weeks of severely limited carbs. That night she made spaghetti with garlic bread.

    But I recently moved out, so now I get to buy the foods that I want. It's so freeing.
