Is Bacon going to help me reach my goal?

I am already eating close to a pound of bacon a day and I'm thinking about starting lifting. Should I lift before or after the bacon? Is it a good source of protein?

    Probably just lifting the pound of bacon will get you to your goal. Just alternate hands.

    Bleh. I like bacon as much as the next person, but that sounds like a LOT of saturated fat to consume every day. Why not have two pieces of bacon, plus some nuts and avacodo?

  • If you are looking for something high in protein to help you gain muscle tone I would say go for more protein like eggs, peanut butter, fish or chicken :smile:

    I beg to differ...the universal answer is Hookers and Blow...however, Bacon does come in a very close second.

    I would way rather have bacon than a hooker - bacon is USDA approved and hookers have no government agency oversight.
