Power of Visualization- SHOW ME YOUR GOAL PICS! :)

I read up a little on the power of visualization today and it warranted me going back into the Facebook Archives to find a picture of me at a weight I would like to get back to! If you have any pictures of yourself at a goal weight, or even a picture of someone else with a look you'd like to achieve, feel free to post them here! Work every day to visualize yourself in that state as a way to stay motivated.
Side note: In a world of photoshop and unattainable expectations, out of kindness to yourself, please try and find a picture of something you believe is attainable. Not a picture of a barbie doll (or Ken doll! ) that has spent many hours in surgery and many more hours in a photoshop workspace.
Here is mine. I am 5'6" and 266 pounds right now. I would like to get back to this look (I don't know how much I weighed in these pictures)

Awesome topic! It's pretty sad that I don't have a "weight that i'd like to get back to", this is the lightest I've been in as long as I can remember. To tell you the truth, there's really nobody I desire to look like. I just want to be healthy, man...0

Must t be nice!! I'm tryin to get like you! I mean I would definitely say I'd just LOVEEEE to look like Kim K! hahahaha But that is probably NEVER going to happen....So I'd rather visualize MYSELF smaller as opposed to someone else. Its much kinder0 -
This is me at my grad. I would still like to be a little thinner than this as I still had some flubber on me, but I looked pretty good at grad!

You can go here http://tinypic.com/ and upload whatever picture you want to use. Then copy and paste the URL for message boards. It will be a web address inside Just copy and paste that to the message and make sure to make the IMG in brackets lowercase instead of capital. Hopefully that makes sense!0 -
Awesome Mystic! Very attainable! Use this picture and visualize current yourself that way! Look at that picture every day and tell yourself you WILL get there! (And then keep going if you feel like you're not ready to start maintaining!)0

Here's some pics of me in a thinner bod

Thanks for fixing Mystic.
Whenever you post the URL you want to make sure IMG is lowercase at the beginning and end Good luck on your journey! You can do it!!0 -
This was me in 08 and it is my goal. However, I would like to tighten up a bit more than what is shown in the picture.

I don't have access to my pics at work, but I would love to rock Alecia Keys body.0

This is mine.
I was 19 or 20.
It would be cool to be back there during my 40th year.0 -
What a great topic, I would much rather work towards my own personal best that towards a photoshopped version of a celebrity. After my baby, I am not sure I can get back to the same size pants even, but if I can at least get back to being fit and healthy and happy, again, my own personal best, I will be stoked!
Somewhere between the muscle definition I had at 110, and the more curvy look of the second pic is what I would like to be at

YES! Totally just figured out a MUCH easier way to upload! I've been downloading the pics and then uploading them to a website that gives me the img thinggy. If you just go to the picture from whatever site its on a right click, select copy image url and then paste it between the img brackets it works!0 -
These pics are all so inspiring! I feel so honored to have found people to be sharing this journey with to health with. This is me 10 yrs and 120 lbs ago. The only good thing about my body now is that I finally have boobs

@ Janelle-125 looks good on you girl!! You can do it! And yes, I definitely think its much kinder to your self if you visualize yourself as a healthier version of YOURSELF! That way you're not setting yourself up for failure.
But I also realize that some people may have been overweight their entire lives and may not have any pictures of themselves to reference...So if you DO choose a picture that is not of yourself, just make sure its a natural picture of a REAL PERSON!
Good luck! You can get back there!! And in my opinion, curves are always sexier!0 -
The skinniest I've been in my adult life is 259, which is shown below. I had lost 50 pounds and felt so good about myself. That is my short term goal as I strive to go all the way down to 175.

My short term and kind-of emergency goal is a 50pound loss too--my whole body hurts right now from the weight. I would loooove to be at 175 also!! I really like the dress in this pic and the sparkle in your eye!!! You will get there!!! Feeling good bout your self is the best part to me!!!!0
