    All the manscaping!
Well, I'm kidding. At least scape the body areas that you expect to have someone put the mouth on / near. For courtesy.

    AGREED!!

I think its very important................ Basic hygiene and appearance reasons. Nothing about sexuality or gender in my opinion. That's just societies problem. I personally do my job and I expect my partner to do the same! And body hair is gross lol. (IMO)

    This thread gets even stranger.

So its now unhygenic not to remove every scrap of hair? Why isn't this poster's head shaved - people are much more likely to be close to her head hair.

I'm British and I dont think the bald genital look is as popular over here, but our European cousins have a reputation for liking it even less.

So: Is most of the population of Europe unhygenic? Has anybody told the Germans?
  • Yes, please manscape... Trimming is sufficient, I don't want to feel like I'm having sex with a 14-year old!!!

If you expect it from women, better believe we expect it from you!
My first love was goddess material, and she had harrier legs and pits than me! ;-) I like it either way with women. Natural or trimmed. But it is gay for men to do it. Someone had to say it.

I hate to disillusion your prejudice (this is sarcasm), but the gays, like myself, that I hang with have a saying: 'Don't pluck it, *kitten* it.'

I don;t think he was calling people gay or trying to insult gay people lol

Yeah, yeah he was. I called him out and he claimed that it's not bigoted because homosexuality is a choice, unlike being born a racial minority. So what were you saying again?

ETA : Direct quote from the poster who used "gay":

"Nah, you are elevating a lifestyle choice to a racial ancestery or a gender. That is degrading to both women, who had to fight for equal rights and for other races that had to do the same."

SO please, don't defend that guy unless you mean that too.

I don't think being gay is a choice but I just took his comment as being said in a joking sarcastic kind of way like when someone says those pants look gay or thats so gay. I just understood the comment differently than you did thats all.

You don't have to go baby bald down there, but keeping things neat and trim would be nice.

I understand how you see it -- how you see it allies you with bigots. What I am saying to you and what you seemed to have missed is: saying "that's so gay" when you mean to say that something is weird, laughable, bad or any other degrading adjective is seriously uncool. Accepting that kind of language as humor allows people like the person who wrote it, who went on to express homophobic view points in his defense, to exist comfortably in our society, while people who have done nothing to nobody are mocked, tormented, and discriminated against. That's abhorrent.

This thread is about manscaping -- all kinds of people are completely smooth. All kinds of people hairy. Personal grooming has nothing to do with sexuality. Just like pants has nothing to do with sexuality.

Ignorance of an offence is sometimes as bad as committing the offence itself. Just because you don't understand the impact of a word on a group of people doesn't mean it has no impact. Just cause you are using a word with no malice in mind doesn't mean it won't cause no malice. Imagine a gay person in a room filled with people who kept using the word gay in a negative manner to describe every little thing they thought was bad/funny looking/abnormal, how is that gay person suppose to feel, if all those around him using what he is to describe everything that isn't normal?

I personaly do not use the word in offensive ways, all I was doing was pointing out that he may have ment the comment in a way that was not intentionally ment to offend and for the record I pefer my man to be either trimmed or bald.

My wife prefers it all shaven off. So, that's how it is. And if it makes it more attractive to her then that's what is important.
