Cilantro. Why?

I bought a very large, very pretty salad for lunch today. About half way in, I got a nice leafy chunk of cilantro in my mouth..... because I was just thinking "You know what would make this salad even more awesome? A big squirt of Dawn dishsoap!" UGHH.

My lunch, and possibly my life, is ruined. That is so foul, who likes that stuff???? I know that it's some weird genetic fluke that makes it taste like that for some people but omg......thanks a lot, death weed.

    Cilantro is the nastiest stuff ever!!!!! It has too much of an over powering flavor and ruins every dish.

    I used to detest it's flavor....but now I've grown to enjoy it. Esp in hummus.

    I like Cilantro, too. My husband thinks it tastes like mildew smells.

    I hate cilantro! I feel like it's too 'minty' and doesn't fit right in a lot of foods that it goes into.

    I refuse to use it, and only use it if I have to.

    Wow, it appears that everyone has strong emotions related to cilantro, one way or the other.

    That's how I gauge the quality of Mexican restaurants in the midwest. The more cilantro, the more authentic. I love me some cilantro!!!

    Cilantro Why? Why nOt? lol :flowerforyou: I love it!! :heart: But it small chopped quantities, to much and you get that Dawn flavour.

    Cilantro is my all time favourite herb. I'm suffering greatly that it is not stocked here in my Arctic community.

    So, next time, ASK what is in the salad. Many people love cilantro. (But my Mom is with you in hating it lol.)
