    Hi Everyone, count me in! I am a mom of two - a 5 year old girl and 1 1/2 year old son. My current weight is 175, my goal for April is to be below 170, a number I will never see again! My ultimate goal weight is around 130, I don't think I have seen that since before high school. I have been a yo-yo on the scale over the years but my motivation now is my daughter. I am a bit concerned with her weight and I want to get it under control before she is old enough to realize it or be bothered by it. I'm doing this for my family. I want my kids grow up in a healthy atmosphere where regular activity and healthy food is normal. I log everything and I try to get to the gym at least three days a week. It's tough with my husband's schedule as he works mostly evenings and my daughter is in activities almost everyday so I am not able to go to the gym as often as I would like. I do have some fitness equipment at home but I need the motivation to use it. My plan is to work out at home 2-3 days a week in addition to the 3-4 days at the gym.

    Any tips for developing and sticking to a work out routine at home?

    I know this sounds like a lot, but I only started 3 days ago and I already lost 11 so I thought this was fairly realistic. Good luck everyone!!! :)

    EDIT: Oh, and my plan is to take my dog on a 15-minute walk everyday (we have a huge backyard but he does need the exercise), drink a gallon of water a day, and stick to my meal plan!

    SW: well it was somewhere around 153 around Christmas time!!

    How? I will track religiously which I have not been perfect at so far. I will continue my half marathon training plan. I will drink 8 glasses of water a day and plan meals ahead of time or drink slimfast in a pinch.

    Im in. Just joined a gym today so I guess im gonna be exercising now. I did a workout today. Anyway I think it will help me this month.

    Lets see
    Starting weight 178.6lbs (logged it into mfp wrong during my first week so mfp is off by a pound on my pounds lost thingy)
    Current weight 174.3lbs
    Goal weight for april 170lbs
    Ultimate goal is 130lbs,, or a bit more if I get a lot of muscle on me. Muscle weighs more than fat.

    I am on the lasst week of Insanity and did very well (lost 12 pounds) and I may begin a second round of Insanity after a weeks recovery. I will also continue muscle conditioning, zumba/dance fitness and Bikram yoga.

    How do you plan to achieve your personal goal?
    Cleaning up my diet, I've seen some nice loss by simply cutting down on processed/added sugars and not caring much about natural sugars from fruits/vegetables etc. :drinker:
    P90X workouts well sort of...I don't follow the plan at all and do whatever workout I feel like doing that day, which are the no-equipment cardio ones right now. Waiting on the equipment I ordered so I can do the Chest/Back/Shoulders workouts. Still I don't follow the set plan or diet regimen at all!

    How do you plan to achieve your personal goal?

    Eating less, moving more... sticking to MFP limits, eating out less, and following the C25K plan and the 10 lb slimdown workouts.... plus my weekly workouts with my trainer. I have PCOS... so I'll be THRILLED if I lose 5 lbs.

    How do I plan to achieve my personal goals?
    Logging everything, everyday! Paying more attention to my macros; watching sodium intake as well. Making a point to eat at least 5-6 servings of fruits and veggies daily. Exercise at least 4x a week.

    LOL! I just sent my sister a text message last week that said "as of today, I am no longer considered obese on the BMI calculator, I am officially overweight!" I was SO excited.

    I would love to join, started by weight loss journey in January of this year when my health hit an all time low, and my weight hit an all time high at 285, as of this morning I'm at 248 for a total of 37 lbs lost, and another 90 lbs to go to reach my ultimate goal. Any motivation and accountability I can get the better :) My goal for April is 240 for an 8 lb lost this month.

    I'll have to revamp my way to achieve this as its been way too cold to jog here in PA. Hopefully winter is finally at an end. I have stuck to jm30ds and walks with my son where I've been able to get out since it's been cold.


    I plan on achieving this by logging everything I eat, giving up eating out for the whole month, jm30ds (actually finishing it this time), and jogging 3x/week.
