    Got all the confirmations of those I know that work/live in Boston...but now waiting on other people that I suspect were in town for business or the race and such.. Ugh.

    NBC just said 2 dead and 23 injured -- so sickening!!! :( I'm sure the injuries at least will be rising over the next few hours.

    Near the finish line no less. So wrong on so many levels!!!! Thank the Lord the hospitals are so close. Looks like most were family members/friends/on-lookers, etc.

    My heart hurts for all of them!!!

    Our local news station just confirmed that 3 are dead.It's sad !

    Someone else said it's up to 12...

    The New York Times has currently confirmed 12 are dead. :sad:

    my heart goes out to the runners, from all over the place, dedicated to a great cause :( I have a marathon this sunday & will be thinking of them
