    It's a cute poem and of course anyone, male or female, wants to be desired. I felt a little offended by it, though. I don't have a husband, child, garden, etc. I am proud to be independent making my own salary, and I feel the poem should also include the career-driven woman. The poem is a bit outdated in this aspect, but overall, I can't disagree that everyone (regardless of gender) wants to be desired.

    It's JUST as important for a man to know you desire him...it is a two way street.

    This is true. It feels so good to be wanted. I spent the last 5 years not feeling wanted, and that sucks. Much better now though...

    This is so true. When I am not feeling sexy or desirable, it is always great to hear my hubby tell me otherwise. I have lived both as a single person and a married person, and I think I can honestly say that EVERYBODY wants to feel desirable.
