    I've been weighing in every morning, and have found its keeping me really focused on my weightloss goal. Otherwise if I just weigh in weekly I find I end up making poor decisions like "its okay if I eat these cookies today, ill make up for it later in the week" but I'll do that almost everyday day, and then of course by weeks-end I can't figure out why I didn't lose any weight :ohwell: I've set my daily goal at 0.2lbs and with that goal in mind all day long I find I make way better decisions. It's almost like a competition with myself on a daily basis to see if I can make that 0.2lbs the next morning. So far its working really well for me, down 4.2lbs so far in just 7days, with a successful 0.2lbs since yesterday. I usget really bad sugar cravings when bored at my office job and I used to go around the corner to the bakery for brownies or cookies. Now as soon as I am tempted that 0.2lb goal crosses my mind and my competitive nature kicks in. I have to make that mark! Theres' no failing! and instead I make a cup of tea or eat some fruit from my lunch and hold out till dinner. People here may get sick of my daily posts but I don't care because this about me doing what I have to do to reach my goals :)

    Whooooohooooooooo hi everyone just me checking in, well done you with your weight losses you are all doing great! Welcome newcomers. I am hoping for a good weight loss this week BUT I dont think I am going to get it :-( not much exercise and over on calories for two days :-( Oh well tomorrow nights the night, then I will have to behave haha.

    weighed in this morning! down another half pound! one more pound to go by friday to meet my goal for the week! i've been doing really well with staying within my calories and making smart food choices, and also staying consistent with my exercise. hope everyone is doing well!

    Nadine I dont think people will get bored of your daily posts. This is the best place for us to get things said.
    I also weigh myself daily hadn't thought about your great idea of 0.2 loss per day. I sometimes find i could go up by 2lbs one day then drop again next, I don't let it bother me if I know I've worked my butt off. At least you can assess what food you have eaten and exercise done with doing it daily.

    Congrats to everyone's weightloss success I can't believe that I have held out and not looked at my weight yet this is really hard for me but I am hoping I will be pleasantly surprised when I step on the scale!!

    Wow, look at all that weight lost!! Great job everyone. I weigh in on Thursday and blew it with my water weight gain last week so I am actually looking forward to it this time. Welcome newbies. As you can see, you will be held accountable which is wonderful! So many groups don't really keep track.

    Nadine, I log on daily and read whatever anyone has written but I don't always have something to say. I guess I feel like I will post too much but maybe I should get over that.

    Yesterday I didn't workout. No particular reason, I just didn't. It wasn't like I didn't want to but it just didn't happen. It actually felt good to make that decision and not blame it on anything else. I couldn't sit down though. :laugh: I did the cooking, then the cleaning, did some laundry, picked up toys, replenished the TP in the bathrooms... you get my point. I felt so good and all day today I was in a good mood. Today I went for a walk with the kids. One on a bike and the other sitting on a skateboard. The "skateboarder" couldn't push herself and steer at the same time so I was behind her pushing with my foot. I alternated feet and felt like I was doing lunges. Kids will always give you a good workout if you let them!

    Wow! Weighed myself this morning and down 5 lbs. I will be happy to maintain that for June. I am leaving for a hiking vacation tomorrow so I will need to be mindful of what I eat.

    love that this group is getting so many new comers! welcome everyone :] and congrats to everyone dropping pounds, great job! i'm nervous about reaching my end of the week goal of 165 - just doesn't seem like i can drop a whole pound in 3 days lol. had a little bit of a cheat night last night, piece of chocolate cake and some chip - mmm! weighed in the same this morning though which makes me feel good! going to try and keep off the scale until friday and hopehopehope to see some lower numbers. keep up the great work everyone!

    Thanks Wendy! Again I don't necessarily write them for others, but for myself it keeps me motivated and is the closest thing to keeping a journal for me. I look forward to logging on everyday and bragging shamelessly about my accomplishments.

    This morning weighed in and had another .6lbs loss :) Down to 124, a number I havent seen in over a year! Yesterday I went for the most amazing mtn bike ride. The way to the trail was 10 minutes up an old gravel road so steep I had to fight to keep my back tire from spinning on the gravel, but the trail was well worth the initial quad burn! As I was riding down, scaring myself silly in parts and taking in the beauty of the forest during the flatter sections, I thought god I am "one lucky daughter of a very nice lady" to have places like this virtually in my backyard. It almost feels like I am cheating in terms of excersize because I was having so much fun the physical effort of it goes pretty much unoticed. After the ride I went for the 30min planned run on my 1/2 marathon training program. Doing my runs after my other workouts/ activities seems to be my fat blasting key, if the scale is any indication.

    Nadine, your bike ride sounds absolutely amazing with spectacular views. we sometimes do have to think to ourselves how lucky we are. great weight loss again, only a small amount to go. you can do it, you know you can, you are a fighter!!

    Well I am NOT a happy lady this evening :-( No loss this week for me but then again no gain :-) I maintaine which I guess is better than a gain. Should I be happy with that????????????????? Maybe I should, well its that time of the month and I have terrible aching pain at the bottom of my back :-( aweeeee I just feel like s**t this evening................

    But on a more positive note, BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE LOST , well done and keep up the good work.

    I am in.....I would love to do this. I am NEW here and some of this stuff and this group talk takes some getting use to. I would like to lose 13 lbs in June. Someone message me and let me know how we are suppose to weigh in and what exactly we are suppose to do....THANKS
