Cheese is delicious. And a good source of protein. In moderation, of course.0

Contrary to what many on this board will tell you, YES, you can lose weight eating ANYTHING.... In moderation.
So eating a whole wheel of gouda cheese is not in moderation?0 -

I've lost 62 pounds and I eat cheese every day. It is high in fat and calories but it is also high in protein--plus there is experimental evidence that dairy fat helps you to avoid regain and also that there are substances in dairy fat that help you to shed body fat, like ALA. I would try to eat "clean" dairy though, if you can. I eat organic, raw milk cheddar from grass-grazed cows (no bovine growth hormones or antibiotics either). It's pretty expensive but I don't eat a lot of it in any one day--two or three ounces, at the most. Some days, I eat only one ounce and occasionally none at all. I'm the only one who eats cheese in our house--my hubby has a dairy allergy.0
